| Pflueger Supreme Casting Reels - Sale $154.88 |
If you're familiar with any of Pflueger's low profile baitcasting reels, you already know their well deserved reputation for
smoothness and easy casting. The Pflueger Supreme is even smoother with it's 11 bearing system, offering easier casting for more
distance with less effort. Put this reel in free-spool, give it a spin and it'll go forever! The big news about the Pflueger
Supreme is the patented UBS™ Braking System, which is unlike anything else on the market today. UBS™ (Ultimate Braking System)
features a 6-pin centrifugal braking system AND a ten-point magnetic brake. With the combination of the two systems you can
fine-tune the casting of this reel like never before. The centrifugal brakes will keep the spool from overrunning at the beginning
of the cast and the magnetic brakes will allow the lure to glide smoothly and go farther toward the end of the cast. You get
unprecedented control over your lure in all conditions, keeping backlash to an absolute minimum.
The Pflueger Supreme has a very solid feel to it with it's one-piece aluminum frame and sideplate, and the crank handle is cold
forged for extreme strength and drilled to reduce weight. Standard features include the low-mass, drilled, machined aluminum
spool, a titanium line guide, soft touch thumb bar, and a tough, attractive finish. In addition, the star drag and the spool
tension knob are click indexed for precise adjustments that will not change while you're using the reel. You'll really be impressed
with the drag on this reel. You can fine tune the tension in small increments for the perfect drag with any pound test line.
Overall, this reel deserves the name "Supreme".

Comments: Exceptional reel. Incredibly adjustable! Between the six pin
centrifugal brake and the magnetic external, AND the spool tension knob, you can set this
baby up to throw some pretty light baits...weightless worms, small cranks, etc-with no
problems. very smooth and great distance. Used it on a pretty windy day cranking and had
one or two backlash after many casts into the wind (couldn't possibly have been operator
error!?). The free spool is incredible, Just goes and goes. Feels good ergonomically, fits
comfortably into the hand. Only thing that felt a little weird is that the thumb bar, while comfy,
seems a little high up. Pulled in several fish that day, none bigger than 3lbs, so can't really
say how the drag will do on a hawg. Highly recommend it. As good as and better than some
of the more expensive reels I've had. Good price. Probably my new favorite.
