Featuring a glass blank construction, the upper third of the rod has the ideal tip for walking a spook, while still providing the sensitivity needed to detect the difference between grass and subtle bites when fishing a lipless crankbait. The mid-section of the rod also provides the power to rip a heavy lipless crankbait out of thick vegetation, while delivering the backbone to dish out solid hooksets on long casts with a big walking-bait.
Extremely light in weight as well, the rod's length of 7-feet is perfect for throwing long accurate casts all day with minimal fatigue. Comments:Very sweet rod! Haven't used it for topwater yet but it is amazing for ripping a heavy Rat-l-traps and LVR outta the grass. Traps are a big part of my fishing and now I have a rod that is made perfect for it. I put on 30lb braid and high speed Revo on it. Man it is a good combo. The grass down here takes a long time to die so I've had plenty of use with this rod.
