Comments: I've been fishing Shimano Crucial rods exclusively since they first came out. So, I was not surprised at how well their swimbait rods performed. Big rods for big baits, yet they won't wear you out after fishing them all day. They are very sensitive rods for detecting those light bites, they have plenty of backbone for controlling those big fish, but yet they have the perfect tip action so you don't tear hooks out of fish. All around great rod, at an even greater price! I can't see spending $200-$300 for a rod that isn't going to perform any better than the Crucial.

Comments: The Shimano Crucial Swimbait rod is one of the best out there. This rod has plenty of back bone to throw the bigger 8" to 10" baits, while still having the soft tip to work a Lunker Punker. I would recommend this rod to all. Compared to some of the other rods out there you can't beat the price, 149.99 is a steal for this rod.

Comments: This is the best swimbait and live shiner rod I have ever used. Great construction, durable, and lightweight. The heavy action rod has a fast tip that is perfect for casting large swimbaits and live shiners in Florida. This rod will cast a 10-inch shiner amazingly well, and similar sized swim baits the same. Awesome rod for an excellent price.
