St. Croix Legend Tournament Bass Casting Rods
The St. Croix Legend Tournament Bass Casting Rods feature several cutting-edge technologies. Each blank is constructed with SC IV Graphite, a High Modulus/High Strain graphite for maximum sensitivity, light weight, strength and responsiveness. The IPC Tooling allows the rod builders to create tapers that are continous curves, which eliminates weakening transition points and allows unprecedently smooth casts. Another major feature, which is exclusive to St. Croix is ART Reinforcment, which adds a very thin layer of graphite fibers at right angles to the long fibers giving the rod much greater ‘hoop' strength. The greater ‘hoop' strength allows the rod to resist crushing from over-bending the rod or stepping on it! Virtually every other rod manufacturer in the world uses fiberglass reinforcement which is heavier and much less sensitive.

Comments: I own the 'Big Jig' rod and it is the absolute best rod I have ever touched for punching mats and thick slop. The hooksets are dominating, there is no issue working the bait up and through the mat once it is down in there and fighting the fish isn't even fair... this thing is an absolute gem, well worth the money and then some.

Comments:Possibly the best performing rod on the U.S. Market I've ever used. The 7' Sweeper Spinnerbait and 7' Slop N Frog models have performed spectacularly for me, I can't imagine being disappointed in any of these models. The Sweeper Spinnerbait rod has really been great, spinnerbaits are what I throw the most and it blows everything else away.
