These technique-specific rods feature the brand new SC^II graphite material, a mid-modulus graphite fiber with a higher strain rate than fibers commonly used by others rod manufacturers. Comments: This is a great rod, i just purchased one not to long ago, it is the "Slop-n-frog" rod. I throw frogs, swimbaits, and flip with it. Can't go wrong for the price. Best rod i've ever used.

Comments:Great rods for the price. I've got the spinnerbait, crankbait, and jig-n-worm rods. All 3 rods work great for each application. The only negatice in my mind, is with the crankbait rod. It works great for the majority of my crankbaits except for my deep divers. I love it for all my shallow and medium depth cranks, but I prefer to use my quantum energy rod for deep cranking.

Comments:Excellent family of rods. I own the Tube & Grub Spinning rod, the Topwater, Plastics, Spinnerbait, Slop & Frog and 7'6" Flippin Casting rods. I use these with Shimano Curado reels and the ABU Inshore on the Flippin rod in saltwater. With two applications of Flexcoat these rods are suitable for saltwater use. Same lure waits and line specifications as the Legend Tournement rods. Maybe not quite as sensitive however, not quite as pricy either. St.Croix, you have done it again!

Comments:Mediocre Rod at best, the only good thing about it is it's lightweight and good looks, witnessed one break at the tip and mine had the guide fall out of the top eyelet, you get what you pay for.

Comments:Excellent rod for the money. I have plenty of expensive rods that I paid a whole lot more that do not have the feel of this rod. The rod fits good in your hands and is well balanced. I put a Shimano Calais reel on it and it is the perfect marriage. I am going to order a couple more of these rods at this price.
