Many anglers are aware of the superiority of centrifugal casting brakes versus the old style magnetic brake, but quantum's breakthrough enables you to adjust the brakes without opening the reel. Now, with the twist of a knob you can adjust the brakes for changing conditions, even from cast to cast. The Accurist II also features a true Flipping Switch. Turn it on and the clutch bar automatically comes back up when pressure is released, instantly engaging your reel for quick hooksets. Turn it off and the Accurist 2 works like any other casting reel.
