The Team Daiwa Fuego Spinning Reel is loaded with exclusive Daiwa technology. The first Daiwa advantage you'll get with Fuego Spinning is the ultra-light magnesium frame and sideplate. This space-age framework holds the drive train in place even under heavy load and makes Fuego Spinning among the lightest spinning reels you'll find today. With Fuego, Daiwa has built a reel that offers tremendous amount of line capacity in a small, lightweight package thanks to an ultra-compact Magnesium body and large diameter spool. Fuego Spinning also incorporates the exciting Digigear® Digital Gear Design. The gears and drive train are supported by a seven bearing system that ensures long life in the Fuego. Daiwa has also incorporated their exclusive Super Corrosion Resistant ball bearings and a sealed drag system that excludes water and other contaminants for a failsafe drag. The bail is another Daiwa innovation; their exclusive Air Bail®, a super strong, lightweight, hollow bail with no protruding angles to hook your line. Everything else in the Fuego is vintage Daiwa.
