Spirex is a top-of-the-line Shimano reel featuring Quick-Fire II technology. Quick-Fire II is a one-handed casting system. It automatically centers the line and trigger directly under your index finger for fast, easy casting. Simply grab the line and pull the trigger in one motion and you're ready to cast. Spirex offers this feature in both the front and rear-drag models. The rear drag also offers Fightin' Drag II - a quick flick of the fighting lever increases or decreases the drag. The levels are preset so you never have to worry about breaking off. Other features include Power Roller technology reducing line twist and Fluid Drive II technology providing precision cut and polished gears. Not to mention the Dyna-Balance technology that adds a computer balanced rotor. All Spirex models have a solid aluminum frame to keep moving parts in place. It also resists flexion under the strain of fighting big bass. Throw in the exclusive double handle crank and you get a wobble-free smoothness that can't be beat.
