Comments: I got this rod when I started bass fishing. I loved it then & I love it now, 1 yr. later, no problems! This is the most durable rod tip on the planet! It has been through the worst as is still all in one perfect piece. I use this rod for everything, rattle traps, jigs, small and big soft plastics. Heck I've thrown a huge 8" swimbait on it! It Is Great!

Comments: Rod was tip heavy and out of balance. Bought the "The Balancer" used all three weights and not love the rod - perfectly balanced.

Comments: I finally was able to use my 7'7" flipping rod today, here in the Northwest, the water is slowly warming up.  I'm not sure if I got a bad rod, this is my 3rd Shimano rod of different kinds.  Set the hook today on a good sized bass and the rod broke below the 5th guide when I was bringing it in.  I really liked the rod up until this point.  Now I will see if Shimano will replace it.

Comments: Have had the 7'11 for a couple weeks now and its great. It's not to heavy and you can pitch and flip with it all day. I have thrown all sorts of baits this rod and have produced with it. This rod seems like it would also work nice with an alabama rig. I have this rod paired with a 200e7 curado and I'm convinced that you could keep any fish from running into heavy cover.

Comments: just picked up the 7'11", its a nice "looking" rod, but WOW..this rod is VERY, VERY tip heavy, has huge guides all the way to the tip, i had to add a balance kit to the butt end just to try and blance it out some, i haven't fished with it yet though.
