About This Rod
New and improved, the Shimano Compre Spinning Rods are built around Shimano's advanced IM-9 high modulus graphite blanks - some of the lightest, most sensitive and durable blanks Shimano has ever created. Offering proven actions and tapers that excel at a range of bass fishing techniques, they are workhorse rods that can handle rugged use and frequent trips to the water. Each rod is also equipped with premium Fuji Aluminum Oxide Guides which offer dependable durability and facilitate greater casting distance and accuracy. Offering the ideal blend of high performance and affordability, the Shimano Compre Spinning Rods continue to be one of the most popular and enduring rod series Shimano has ever produced.

Customer Feedback
Comments: Coating around eyes chipped off after very little use. Great customer service though. Had the older model that was 2 years past its warranty and they still replaced it no questions asked free of charge

Comments: Awesome rod for finesse tactics, but handles a little heavier stuff pretty good... I was even able to use a Scumfrog on one in a pinch, and it still worked! I give this rod a 5/5

Comments: Got the 6'8" M 6-12 lb Compre as a replacement for the 6'6" M 6-12 lb previous series Compre. Disappointed in it's feel. I fish only Shimano reels, but stick to Powell for rods.
