About This Rod
Featuring Shimano’s breakthrough TC4 blank technology, the Shimano Comre Crankbait Casting Rods are equipped with crankbait specific actions engineered to allow crankbaits to perform to the best of their ability, and provide you with the moderate tapers to hook and land more fish. The advanced TC4 Construction process wraps an inner and outer spiral of high modulus graphite around a double layer core of advanced dynamic fibers to build a blank that is virtually indestructible, yet crisp, lightweight and more sensitive than traditional glass blanks. Premium Fuji Aluminum Oxide Guides also offer excellent durability, and help facilitate longer and more accurate casting, and new custom Shimano Reel Seats help reduce weight even further, and provide a comfortable, sturdy base for your reel. The newly designed reel seats also fasten from below the reel for a sleek, new threadless look. Offering a winning blend of value and performance, the Shimano Compre Crankbait Casting Rods are new and improved.

Comments: I have this rod in 7'6'' MH and it is a beast. I paired it w/ a Curado 201E7. The combo of these 2 makes a suprisinly multi-taskable rig. I've been pitching w/ it and works really well in the area. I've put on some lighter weight cranks and can still get some incredible distance out of it. Obviously when you pair it w/ a Koppers Live Target Yellow Perch... max distance and annihilation! It has a great backbone and the tip is pretty sensitive. It is built very well. It's winter here so it's hard to get bass w/ out a boat but I've been hammering some nice sized Brown Trout w/ no effort thanks to this awesome rod. You won't be sorry if you get the Compre!

Comments: 100% legit crankin rod. I have three Loomis CBRs and this one is right there with them. Go and check the price diff. I will wait...done? Now you know which one you want, right? I scooped up the 6'8"M for small cranks, rippers and topwaters and it is flawless. Pretty light, too. Slap a Smoke in the 100 size on there and you are fresh to death.

Comments: I have the 7' M paired with a Citica 201 and it is awesome! It's the best cranking rod I've owned. I definitely plan on buying the 7' MH and 7'6" MH soon.
