Comments: just got to take out this beauty the other day. mounted it to the new legend xtreme for drop shot and i couldn't have asked for a more well balanced, sexier looking combo than that. when u hook a fish and feel how smooth the drag and retrieve are, u won't be able to help but smile.

Comments: Just got my Sustain 2500 this week, so far no complaints besides no extra spool. It is everything i hoped it would be and more. Extremely smooth retrieve, excellent drag system, and lightweight. Balances well on a Dobyns 703S. The price might scare you, but when hold this reel in your hands, and attach it to your favorite rod and hit the water, you'll know it was money well spent.

Comments: Great Reel....Smooth Casting...Awesome Retrieve...The X-ship shows a difference....The Fast Drag is great as well....Pulled in a 30 in Red Fish without too much effort...It was a good fight but the reel was up for the task!...I have the new Stradic FJ and just got this one as well...There is a slight difference between the two...and I prefer this one...Its worth the extra money...Just buy it! You won't regret it! On a side note, the demo program with TackleWarehouse is great! Thanks Guys!

Comments: Finally, a great spinning reel from this company. My Stradic's bought in the late 1990's had gears that crapped out after 2 seasons, so have not bought a Shimano again until recently (did not like the cheap cast-aluminum gears they used for many years, even on their most expensive models). These are way better. Hopefully the smoothness will last! Their new features (longer handle and new pinion gear alignment)compensate for the high gear ratio's lack of power - great reels! I have the 3000 and 4000, both fitted with 6 Lb. line and high-end St. Croix Rods. Love them!
