Shipping & Return Information

Tackle Warehouse is leading the way in quick, affordable shipping. All orders placed before 12:30pm Pacific Standard Time will be picked, packed, and shipped that same day. All orders over $50 receive FREE ground shipping. All other ground deliveries are only $6.75 within the Contiguous US. We charge you less for shipping so you can get more of the stuff you want.

Note: First time customers will be asked to establish an order history before shipping to alternate addresses. Customers choosing overnight shipping may be contacted for verification and verbal approval.

Free Ground Shipping Details

Exceptions: Due to dimension and weight limitations assessed by UPS, orders made with an extraordinary amount of weight or large dimensions may be subject to a freight charge. A large quantity of Plano Tackle Boxes, for example, may require a freight charge. Please call 1-800-300-4916 or e-mail if you think you may be placing an order that could incur a shipping charge. We will confirm if your order does need a freight charge and can supply you with a shipping cost for your purchase at that time.

$10 Overnight Shipping Details

  • $10 overnight shipping on orders over $50.
  • Offer valid in the contiguous U.S. Only.
  • Does not include overnight Saturday delivery. Additional charges apply for Saturday delivery.

  • Orders must have an actual or dimensional weight of 4 lbs. or less.

UPS & FedEx Air

Please be advised when choosing UPS Air as a shipping option, depending on your location, UPS may require a signature in order to leave it at a residence. If a signature is required and no one is available to sign for the package, UPS will not leave it. We would strongly suggest that if you choose UPS Air shipping as an option someone be home to sign for the package or have it shipped to a business where someone is available to sign for it. Tackle Warehouse will not be held responsible for reimbursing UPS Air shipping charges if there is no one available for a signature release.

Note: All rod orders with additional items being shipped via UPS Air or FedEx Air, may incur an increased shipping charge. The shipping charge shown when the order is submitted is subject to change. If your order needs to be shipped in two separate boxes you will be notified via e-mail. The shipping charge reflected on your order confirmation e-mail will be the correct shipping cost.

UPS Priority and FedEx Overnight

When shipping UPS Priority Overnight to certain destinations, UPS does not guarantee delivery by 10:30am. Depending on the zip code and address location, some packages may not be delivered until 5pm. Unfortunately, UPS cannot provide us with zip codes where these varying delivery times apply. Please be advised that if you are in a remote destination and choose UPS Priority Overnight, the guaranteed arrival time will not apply but the next day delivery will. As a result, Tackle Warehouse, will not be refunding for Priority Overnight deliveries made to rural areas where there is no delivery time guaranteed.

Back Ordered Items

After your initial shipment of in stock items are sent, all remaining back ordered items are shipped free of charge. If all items are out of stock when you submit your order, you are responsible for the initial shipping charge. If we receive a portion of the order we will ship those items at the original cost of shipping and the remaining back ordered items will ship at no cost to you.

The method of shipping will depend on the best option available. Back ordered items will ship either First Class Mail or UPS Ground. If you would like your back ordered items to be sent out using a specific shipping method you will need to contact us at 1-800-300-4916 or You will be charged for the cost of shipping your back ordered items if any other method is chosen. Typically, back ordered items, if not sent out the same day, will go out the following day. Travel time will depend on your location within the continental US. Please be advised, unless otherwise notified all back ordered items will be sent via First Class Mail or UPS Ground.

Backordered items will ship out once they are all in stock.

General Travel Time Breakdown

With the exception of Priority Overnight Saturday Delivery, weekend days are not included in the travel time of a package. All UPS shipments offer tracking.

Note- Delivery and transit days are Monday-Friday only. Packages do not move in transit, or deliver on weekends.

Golden State Overnight offers a limited Saturday delivery.

FedEx Priority Overnight (Saturday Delivery) can have an order delivered on a Saturday. This shipping option can only be selected by placing an order over the phone.

UPS Ground

Please see the map below for approximate travel times.

Transit days for ground shipments are business days and do not include weekends or holidays. Transit days are approximate and not guaranteed on ground shipments

Priority Mail

Typical travel time is 4-10 working days regardless of destination. This shipping option is not insured and does not offer a tracking service.

Note: All Ground and Priority Mail shipment times are approximate and are subject to change.

Golden State Overnight

GSO provides overnight delivery services to every address in California as well as two day delivery to select regions of Western Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico.

  • The Nevada service area includes the metropolitan areas of Reno and Las Vegas.
  • The Arizona service area includes the metropolitan areas of Phoenix, Tucson, and Flagstaff
  • Please use the Delivery Rates & Times Calculator to calculate actual delivery times.*
  • *Saturday delivery service may not be available for packages sent between California and Arizona destinations.
  • Please Note: GSO does not deliver to Post Office Box addresses.

UPS 2nd Day

As long as your order is placed before 12:30pm Pacific Standard Time Mon.-Fri. your order will ship the same day. If you place a UPS 2nd Day Air on Monday you should expect to receive it on Wednesday (no particular arrival time is allotted for these shipments). If you place a UPS 2nd Day Air on Thursday you will receive the order, guaranteed, that following Monday (weekend days not included in travel time).

FedEx Standard Overnight and Priority Overnight

(UPS Overnight used for California Residence only)

All orders placed with FedEx Standard Overnight will be delivered the next day (with the exception of Saturday) with no specific arrival time. If a Standard Overnight is submitted on Friday it will be delivered, guaranteed, Monday after the weekend. If you need an order delivered on Saturday, you will need to call in your order and request the Fed Ex Priority Overnight Saturday Delivery Option. This option is slightly more expensive but is guaranteed Saturday delivery (excludes certain areas). If you need a package delivered before 10:30am on a weekday (excludes certain areas), you will need to choose the Fed Ex Priority Overnight option.

Returns and Exchanges

In the event that you would like to exchange or return an item please refer to the back of your invoice for directions. If you need a copy of our return form, you can download it here. If you have a question that your invoice does not address please call and speak with a customer service representative who will give you return information specific to the product you are returning.

Please use the pre-paid return shipping label included with your order (only included with orders shipped within the contiguous United States). All other customers will be responsible for shipping charges on returned product.
