Overview

Engineered with the perfect balance of weight, strength, action, and durability, the 6th Sense ESP Series Casting Rods deliver tournament-caliber performance and a streamlined modern design. Built around a specialized 30-Ton Japanese Graphite blank, it is enveloped by innovative components for an extremely user-friendly experience on the water.

The 6th Sense ESP Series Casting Rods start with a sleek custom handle design that utilizes an enhanced, rubber-coated hard composite material that will fit an angler’s hand like a glove and allow them to feel even the lightest of bites. From there, the grip transitions to a 2-piece Fuji reel seat, accompanied by a custom 6th Sense hood, which further increases the overall sensitivity by allowing direct contact with the exposed rod blank. Moving up the blank reveals a Fuji Alconite medium-sized guide train for expert, tangle-free line management with minimal friction. Completed with a new diamond-shaped hook-keeper, the 6th Sense ESP Series Casting Rods is sure to become a rod you gravitate towards day in and day out.

Comments: Tried to leave a review on 6th Sense's site since that's where I bought this rod from, but couldn't figure out how so I thought I'd write one here. The rod itself is very comfortable, light, and sensitive. When using crank baits, I can feel the vibrations all the way up through the handle of the rod. My one gripe with this rod is the handle. While the rubber grip is very comfortable, the rubber coating is extremely thin and is already coming off. Especially with the part of the rod that's going to take the most wear and tear, you'd think the coating would be thicker. I put the rod in a rod holder and just taking the rod out of the holder scratched the coating off to the material underneath.

Comments: The 7'9" medium moderate is the perfect medium diving crank bait rod. Anything like a megabass deep x 200, dt 8-10 or a OSP EXDR. The rod is really light at the price and the sensitivity is grate at this price. The butt tucks in well and I like the feel of it. Overall I have nothing bad to say. They nailed it with this rod.

Comments: 7'5 medhvy fast I have unfortunately bought one of these rod and like pretty much everything 6 cents it's awful. I have used it for a year now so I can give honest review. It's heavy, and not sensitive in the least. These rods have a very sloppy soft tip for 1/3 of the rod that transitions into 2/3's that doesn't bend at all which results in a rod that refuses to stay loaded. And the result is lost fish. The reel seat is fairly comfortable but when you're hands get wet the handle becomes slimy and very hard to grip. I'm trying to find a replacement for this disappointment but I currently use it for light flipping with Daiwa sv 7:1 with 50lb 832 braid and 20lb seaguar leader. If you are thinking about buying one do yourself a favor and keep searching. I'm looking at Expride, Irod air, gloomis GCX punch, or Okuma X-series.

Comments: I had ordered this rod for a jigging rod and to be honest, its not really very sensitive at all. I have only used it for a week or so since it took 3 weeks to get here after paying 40$ extra for air delivery. Used it mainly for worm and topwater since and it seems to be working ok. good backbone just not sensitive as it should be. FYI i purchased the 7'5 MD hvy

Comments: I had ordered this rod to see what it was all about. Once I unpacked it and got a feel for it, I had to return this rod. This rod is heavy even without the reel on. My Dobyns Sierra is way lighter than this ESP rod. For the price find another rod, the weight of this rod will wear you out fishing it all day.

Comments: For the price you cant go wrong for a rod with this kind of sensitivity. The medium heavy is a perfect worm rod and the heavy a great rig rod. I would use these and I do use these rods for strictly bottom contact rods but with the actions of these rods you can use these for reaction type baits like chatterbaits and swim jigs and cranking. Again fantastic bottom contacts rods but could definitely multi-techique with em.

Comments: This is a super sweet rod. It is very sensitive and seems to have a good backbone. My only gripe is it is on the heavier side compared to some of the other 6th sense rods. Beyond that it's awesome. Fit and finish is very nice.
