Comments: Need to swap out split rings to heavier type, it fixes the weakest point and will finally suspend rather than float. Tried to call 6th about an issue, never got to talk to a person or get my call returned. Poor customer service means I shop other brands more.

Comments: I bought this crank specifically to fish in the shallows with pauses. The fact that it suspends lets you vary the retrieval and the bass crush it. First time out a 4 pounder crushed it. And you know the 6th Sense colors are some of the best! The stock hooks also are freakin awesome!

Comments: 6th Sense really puts out a quality lipless bait. From their colors and finish to quality EWG hooks. One of the few lipless baits in my boat I don't have to change hooks on. I love the suspending action. I've caught quite a few fish ripping it and then pausing. It's definitely a different presentation than your standard lipless bait

Comments: A great bait. I thought that it would be too big, but after fishing it for schooling white bass and blacks in shallow water, it flat works. I fished it in shallow water and stick ups and it comes through great. It seems to pull the bigger fish from a school.

Comments: Never used the MB Fermata, but have a decent amount of experience with the Ima suspending lipless. Have had good success with Ima in the early spring, but only in stained waters. There color selection is not that great. Most of them too loud for clear water imo. The Quake 80 is legit. Have used only in moderately clear water conditions with 8 plus mph winds in Oct & Nov in Illinois. 4k Bluegill in sunny/spotty cloudy conditions and Live Shiner in heavier overcast with success. During Oct 55-60 water temps. Crank and stop for a second. During November plus/minus 50 degree water temps, 2-3 second pauses with a mix of reel/stop and switches.

Comments: Best I've ever used, and the colors on the baits are amazing. I own 4 different colors of the crankbaits and that's all I use now. All the others stay in the Tacklebox in the boat.

Comments: Runs shallow and rides up and rolls when run fast. Runs good at medium speed. Very snag prone with the large hooks but holds fish well. Suspends good, and cast well. So far I prefer the quake 70.

Comments: Good crank, bad hooks (in terms of hook-up ratio, not sturdiness). Treat this as if you're burning a jerkbait (burn/pause, burn/pause) and upgrade the hooks to something super sharp so that fish hook themselves this bait it's suspended on the pauses, and you'll be happy. Add suspension strips as dictated by water temperatures to get it to suspend year-around. I don't like throwing squarebills from the bank because they have a tendency to dig in and get snagged, but I have zero reservations about throwing this guy around rip rap and weed lines.
