Built with a lightweight one-piece graphite frame and side plates, the included baitcasting reel is loaded with a machined aluminum spool, MagTrax braking system, 4+1 ball bearings, and Duragear brass gearing for smooth and consistent performance. When a trophy bass is on the line, the Power Disk drag system delivers up to 18 pounds of maximum pressure, while a swept handle fitted with soft-touch knobs enable plenty of leverage and comfort.
Sporting a durable and responsive 24-Ton composite blank, the PRIME rod features a golf-style/EVA split-grip design, ergonomic Abu reel seat, and rugged guides with stainless-steel frames and inserts.
