Comments: Very light, well built rod. It has more of a moderate fast action which should help with keeping fish pinned with jigs. I have tested casing distance with the new guides and it doesn't cast any further than my Vendetta MH 7-6 with larger guides. My biggest gripe is that the rod's grip couldn't be made out of a slicker material. I'm going to have to get rod wrap if I don't want the rod coming out of my hand when it is wet or cold. Very disappointing. Update 8/18/23 : 76MH: my reviews were out of order and inaccurate. The material in the handle feels more grippy now that it is broken in. . Compared to my 76 mh Vendetta, the rod actually has a faster action and significantly more power even though lure ratings are the same. It excells at throwing frogs and toads given the nice tip to it. The rod is surprisingly thin and very light for such a powerful rod. I love this rod and would certainly recommend it.

Comments: Took the rod out (76 MH), and did some frogging. The rod performed flawlessly and the grip feels more grippy. When I first put my hands on the handle, it was almost like there was powder on it making it slick. Not a problem now. It could be the finest rod I have. Can't wait to try some pitching and light punching.

Comments: I've had this rod for a month now (7'3MH) and have used it at least 4-5 times a week since. Most definitely is my favorite sub $200 rod by far. Crazy light, balanced, sensitive nice back bone. It's a pretty versatile rod other than the tip being a little fast but I've thrown everything except big swimbaits and frogs on it and it's performed well above my expectations. Also have the 7M spinning and the weight and sensitivity blew me away. Definitely buying more!

Comments: I bought a medium heavy fast in the summer of 2022. These are great rods while they last. But I had a tip break while setting the hook. Abu replaced the rod. I had that tip break while casting. To their credit, Abu again replaced the rod. But that tip again broke. Tossed the rod in the trash. I've had good luck with the Veracity line and Fantasista line, but these rods seem brittle. It's a bummer because the rod fished really nice.

Comments: Great rod for price, not my go to rod during summer, handle is not as grippy when wet. Love it now that cooler weather has set in. If it had an EVA grip I would have replaced a bunch of older rods with these. I like that it's all black with basically no fancy decoration and slimmed down guides. I have two MHs paired with Revo MGXs.

Comments: These rods are really light, and feel very high quality. I think for $180 it's hard to beat. The carbon handle has a comfortable soft touch coating to it. I am curious to see how it ages. But so far I'm very happy with this Rod. It's now my go-to Rod beating out my dobyns sierra, and shimano zodias.

Comments: I got one of these rods early on for a replacement (odd credit for product sold out situation) and they are very nice. The carbon grip feels great, unbelievably sensitive. The reel seat is a great upgrade, and overall it is about as light as my 7'M Villain 2.0; I got the 7'2"M xf Veritas TE. For the price point it really feels good, the action on Abu rods are similar to St. Croix rods. I have always enjoyed Abu rods, they are crisp, light, and overall a fair deal. They have amazing customer service that stands behind their products. They are not custom, small batch, hand made rods, nor are they G. Loomis rods, but they have been great for me and I suggest them to anyone. This model is really special.
