Designed to do battle with the biggest bruisers your lake has to offer, the Bacca Burrito Swimbait has already proven itself to be a giant slayer. Painstakingly designed by Gail Ratcliff over 8 years ago, he grew unable to keep up with the exploding demand from anglers seeking his prolific swimbait that draws its name from the legendary Lake Baccarac in Mexico. In response, Ratcliff collaborated with Bull Shad Swimbaits to increase production and get the bait in more hands, and ultimately, more scale-busting bass into angler’s livewells.
An epic tool for covering water or targeting schooling fish, the Bacca Burrito Swimbait is a durable soft silicone shad-imitating swimbait that excels in the deeper, 10-20-foot range of the water column. It employs a seductive wobble action and anatomically accurate profile to entice bites from finicky fish suspended in open water around ledges and sparse cover. In addition to tackling open water, it is highly efficient at picking apart docks due to its exceptional skipping abilities. Made with premium ingredients and careful craftsmanship, the Bacca Burrito Swimbait is an irresistible meal for any shad-chasing predator.

Comments: I was super excited to get this bait. I ordered 2 of them and I sent both of them back. The eyes were coming off without even taking them out or the package. Poor quality for that much money. I will find a better quality bait.
From: James: Tennessee 9/12/23
Comments: Man they have to figure out something with the eyes falling off. For $40 you shouldn't have that problem.
From: Rodney: Tennessee 9/7/23
Comments: Eyes fall off the bait. It's got good kick but at $40 a pop I shouldn't have to worry about anything falling off the bait.
From: Shawn: Hillsboro, IL 9/4/23
Comments: I haven't had any luck with it. You have to swim it fairly fast to get the tail to move, if not it's just a turd. I fish Table Rock Lake and I won't give up on it yet, but it might not be too much longer.

Comments: Very cool to see Gail's bait on Tackle Ware House. I'm not sure if it's allowed Gail sells a repair kit like Mend-it designed to work on this type of plastic. These used to be pretty hard to get but the price is just. Congratulations Burrito Guy!

Comments: This catches big ones. Caught a giant 5-8 Ozarks bass in practice for a tournament on the first cast with the who dat color. Great action and a perfect profile. Great for dock skipping.

Comments: @ 1st glance it doesn't seem to run well at a slow speed... tail doesn't kick at all for me with slow retrieve on 6:31 BC..1st pool test for action tho.. does look good for bottom bouncing /hopping/dragging ... is a bit pricey !!! but I haven't lost one yet cuz that's when we get all up in our feelings about price.. its worth every penny when its catching fish!

Comments: I've got the threadfin in the medium sink and absolutely love it!!! I mainly fish highland reservoirs with deep clear water and these baits are perfect for those 15-30 ft suspended schools of big spotted bass! It gets deep quick and stays there with amazing action! Highly recommend this bait!!
From: Lee: Birmingham, AL 1/8/22
Comments: Love the fact that they are made of a more durable silicone. I'm in the silicone industry and I know first hand that silicone is pricey. I have always used hudds for years. I actually like these burritos swim better than hudds. Better customer service as well.
From: Billy: San Diego, CA 11/6/21
Comments: They're good and they get down quick. Sweet spot to be fished is around 20ft butttttt... way overpriced. They should be 20 a pop at best. A fantastic alternative is the Storm wild eye shad at 1/7th of the cost. Baccas are more durable but if you fish this bait correctly, expect to snag a bunch of them.

Comments: I can't believe I'm seeing burrito baits on tackle warehouse. I used to buy them when they'd pop up in drops on sundays on the guy's website and stay up sometimes for a few days. Pretty awesome seeing them here on tacklewarehouse. These things can be fished deep very easy but you can fish them like a swimjig, hopping jig, drag them, deadstick them, like a spinnerbait, slow roll, fast roll, whatever. I've caught more fish over 5 lbs in more ways with this bait than any other. It is a do all and you just buy the hell out of them.
From: Just an old customer: Somewhere, Florida 10/14/21
Comments: One of the best soft baits that money can buy. Flat out gets bit.
From: AJ: Seaford DE 10/14/21
Comments: Excellent for just about anything you need a soft swimmer for. Skips great, gets deep quick, and can be burned or crawled with great varying tail action. Excited for the masses to see what they can do!
From: Luke: Pelican Rapids MN 10/14/21
Comments: These are buy far some of the best soft swimbaits on the market. I personally have several bacas with several fish on them and they are nowhere near the end of their lifespan. The silicone keeps the baits intact fish after fish, and far superior to any other soft plastic on the market.
