Overview

Developed in a lab and proven on the water, BaitFuel Gel is designed to keep fish biting cast after cast. Engineered by a pair of scientists with more than 30 years of experience leading a Fisheries Research Biology lab, Baitfuel is a combination of natural compounds found in the prey of most predatory fish to convince the bass in your lake that they are munching on “real food.” It relies on a water-based formula that instantly dissolves in water and more easily mimics natural forage.

BaitFuel Gel is the next generation of scent technology that capitalizes on Fish Active Scent Technology (FAST) to stimulate a bass’s predatory instincts. Not only does this advanced scent encourage fish to bite, but it also helps bass to locate your bait and widens your strike zone by secreting a potent scent cloud around your lure. Craws, creatures, worms, or tubes, BaitFuel Gel is a smart way to enhance any soft plastic you send into your lake!

Comments: It works. After getting it, I marinated my finesse worms and went to a team tourney on a notoriously tough lake. My partner is a local guide, both of us excel at drop shotting. Fished the tournament and it was a toough day...well it was tough for the guy in the front of the boat. I caught at least 8 for every one he caught...same size weight, same zoom finesse worms, even the same hooks, all fished on the same spots....I pounded them, he did not. Baitfuel was the lone difference in the equation. As for marinating worms, you need very little, and can just rub it throughout the bag. It softens the plastic a bit, but won't alter the worms color....but if you really soak them with too much, the plastic will absorb it and ruin the worms color and texture....but that's operator error, not the fault of the scent, as if you put too much water in the bag, the same thing will happen.....plastic is absorbent..

Comments: This product has been a real game-changer for me on the Great Lakes - This stuff is the real deal when used correctly .. It's super easy to use - just squeeze it on your favorite bait or put a little in a bag of your Favorite drop shot baits, and you're good to go. If the bait that you're using has a lot of salt. I don't recommend putting this in the bag .. It will make it clumpy... just apply to the bait. all you need is a little.. I get more bites and more aggressive bites. It's like the fish can't resist it! And because it creates a scent cloud, it can attract fish that are further away, giving you a wider range to work with. I've also found that this bait fuel is incredibly versatile. You can use it on all sorts of bait - from worms to lures to soft plastics. Just a few drops in the bag is all you need to increase the effectiveness of your bait. I would highly recommend this bait fuel to any angler looking to up their game on any body of water. It's easy to use, versatile, and most importantly, it provokes an aggressive bite response from the fish. Trust me, your catch count will thank you.

Comments: I've put some of this in many of my bags of soft plastic, but saw no difference in number of bites after a number of fishing trips. Compare that to the difference I notice when I put smelly jelly on my bait and it's no contest. Is smelly jelly more... smelly? Yes. Does it get all over your hands? Yes. But it works 10x better than this product. For the guys who say it made a huge difference, I would like to better understand what other factors were in play (different line size, hook size, presentation style, etc). Based on my experience this product just isn't worth it.

Comments: So here is an update that may not be popular if you jumped on the hype train: this does not make a difference. The guy in the boat with me, who does not use scent, catches fish, while I do not (with this on my bait). This has happened time and time again over the last few months. There has been a very tough bite here and I am using solid finesse tactics, and the bites I do get are not enough to prove to me that this makes a difference. I won't buy this stuff again. If you want a proven scent that has resulted in noticeable fish catches right after applying it, try Yum.

Comments: I have tested this stuff hard for the last 3 months since I got my first bottle! And tbh I am not 100 % sold. I think in some situations when I added the Baitfuel it helped me catch a few extra fish and get a few more bites than I normally would. And In other situations I didn't notice a difference. So all in all I'm not saying this stuff doesn't work, but I'm not gonna say it's the real deal just yet

Comments: I was skeptical at first, but at the Red Crest championship in Tulsa. They had like 300 hundred bottles to sell. It amazed me that all the marshals that bought it up including the pros. The marshals had seen the majority of the pros using it but did not know what it was. I truly believe it will get you an extra bite on a tough day.

Comments: My buddy and I put Baitfuel to a test ... both of us throwing the same bait at a school of smallmouth shallow(we could physically see the fish ) .One tube was soaked in Baitfuel one was not . The tube that was soaked out fished the unsoaked one 5 to 1 Watching the reaction of the fish when it got close to the soaked tube was incredible I've always been skeptical of any scent but this stuff really does work

Comments: This stuff is a game changer and I love the fact that it don't leave you smelling like your trying to repel Dracula. Hands down the best fish attractant that I have ever used. If you wanna catch more fish, you need to add this to your lineup.

From: Unknown: 8/17/22

Comments: Will not stay on hardbaits for more than 2 casts, which is very disappointing, considering other scents on the market will stay on all day. No fish catches when it was on my bait. At least you get a lot of it in the container.

From: Ben: WY 8/4/22

Comments: Doesn't work . i have honestly put it through the ringer on trying it and there is stuff that works much better in my opinion. with livesope you can really test this stuff out and I have had baits that I have marinated for a year in pro cure that has caught more fish than the stuff I have marinated in bait fuel. bought it for the hype that is not there.

From: trevor: 7/13/22

Comments: You get a whole lot of gel for your money. Put it in a ziplock bag and rub your plastics in it. I gooped some on my crankbait and it just slid off, so it may not be the best choice for hard baits. I don't think I caught any more fish than I would have with no scent, but testing continues. The best part is...it has no detectable odor! No more stinky garlic hands after a day of fishing.

Comments: "Add to plastic bag and let marinate", the bottle says. So I did, and it ruined a full bag of Roboworm 4.5" fat worms in Hologram Shad. That color has a beautiful translucent section with a bit of sparkle on top of the worm, and it got completely discolored (it is now a dull milky color). This stuff might work, and it might not do anything to your opaque plastics. But after this initial experience I'm quite gunshy to try it out on anything else.

Comments: Absolutely amazing! I used it for bed fishing and had multiple fish eat over and over even after feeling the hook. They couldn't leave it alone.

Comments: This stuff works! I was skeptical at first but saw instant results. definitely, a must have.
