Overview
Since the launch of their heavy-duty Gorilla Swimjig, customers have often requested a more “northern style” swimjig, and so, the Beast Coast Workingman's Swim Jig was born. Poured using high-quality lead, this swimjig is ideal for smaller grub or double-tail grub style trailers, or any swimbait in the 2.8” to 4” range. The largest 3D eyes on any swimjig in the category, along with perfectly trimmed skirts and weedguards make the Beast Coast Workingman's Swim Jig a phenomenal tool. The pointed, perfectly keeled head lets you swim this little jig through thick grass and keep it high in the water column. The Beast Coast Workingman's Swim Jig’s skirts are wire-tied and banded.

Almost PerfectAs far as finesse swim jigs go, this is one of the best. IMO the Greenfish Chibi edges it out slightly as a finesse swim jig. I think BC makes the best stock skirts you can get. Wire tied, krystal flash, great colors and pre trimmed. Large dia stiff silicone creates doesn't move as well with lighter weights. I wish they used a finer cut. It would move a little better, particularly in colder water and require less weight to keep down. The stock skirts is fine for 4", a little trimming requires for 3.5, and considerable trimming for 3". Outstanding jighead and hook. I do wish the guard was a little heavier, as you can always thin a guard out, but can't thicken it. I really wish BC would offer swim jig a little lighter in weight and hook dia than the gorilla, but heavier than the workingman. Give it a 3/0 or 4/0 MH wire BKK or Gami and guard with 10 or 12 more bristles. If they could recess the eye, that would be great, but not a deal breaker if they didn't. That would be one of the best swim jigs on the market.
Great Swim JigThis swim jig is now my go to swim jig. I love everything about it! I also agree you don't need a bigger hook on this jig. I think the smaller more compact size is why it gets bit more often. I would love to see this jig in a rusty craw pattern.
Awesome swim jigI am really impressed with these jigs they look great and just flat catch bass! One comment said something about the hook being to light but I have caught big fish on these jigs with no issues, no bending at all, I don’t know why people think they need a gaff hook to catch bass but this hook is very strong and capable of bringing in as big of bass as any other hook.
Almost PerfectA Northern Swim Jig doesn't necessarily mean a small hook. I fish and have fished more than ten brands of swim jigs, many of which are local and regional to the upper Mississippi River. That being said, they all feature at least one size bigger hook than the Beast Coast Workingman's Swim Jig. A shame because all other aspects of this jig are perfect, but the one weak point of a swim jig shouldn't be the hook.

Comments: This little swimjig is awesome. Tied with wire underneath the band... hook is awesome... and the weedguard actually deflects grass and pads unlike any other "finesse" or northern style swimjig with super soft weedguards. Big eyes a nice touch. The price is right and they lasttttt.

Comments: Awesome swimjig. Very small, the huge eyes are great firmly believe they get more bites in moving scenarios. Weedguards right. Skirts have a band and wire.
