Overview
ombining the innovative design of the Berkley Dredger with a range of high-definition colors, the Berkley Dredger HD 10.5 Crankbait is built to fool the largest and most discerning predators. Developed with input from cranking legend David Fritts, the Berkley Dredger HD 10.5 Crankbait is made with a weighted bill design that allows anglers to reach the same diving depth as larger plugs, but with a much smaller profile.
Covered with a photo realistic finish, the Berkley Dredger HD 10.5 Crankbait offers a tight, subtle action that makes it easy to crank, and eliminates the fatigue endured through a long day of chucking and winding. Complete with a pair of razor-sharp Fusion19 treble hooks, the Berkley Dredger HD 10.5 Crankbait blends the prove performance of the Dredger Crankbait with lifelike colors that big fish won’t be able to distinguish from the real deal.

Comments: It's my favorite crankbait I have been using it for at least 2 years now and I love it! The best crankbait I have used!

Comments: This crankbait design is awesome. The quality control is not! I've been using this lure since they first hit the shelves but in the past few years I have had them sink right out of the package, no split ring upgrades no treble hook upgrades... all Berkley's original Hardware. The lure takes water on which completely changes the Action. This was my number one offshore crank for suspended fish but now that every one out of three that I purchase immediately sinks they're useless. No depth control and you can't pause them which I use to entice the strike, they just keep running at you and slack your line. Too bad... such a great design is useless without quality control. As I said some sink right out of the package others catch a fish or two before they start sinking! And I've had a few that started sinking after the First cast. In the past 2 years my son and I have purchased about 20 of these, 8 of them have turned into sinkers. So far Berkley customer service has replaced 2 the other 6 they're blaming on covid lol. And dealing with their customer services is no picnic!

Comments: Runs true at any speed and comes through woody cover better than most. I'd upgrade the hooks before throwing.

Comments: I highly recommend getting this bait to get you into super deep diving cranks. They get bit on pressured lakes and cast a mile. They are also not as intimidating and heavy as the XD models. Threadfin Shad HD is a great place to start! 14lb flourocarbon on a 7'11 Heavy/moderate rod with a curado 300 is my setup and it has delivered time and time again.

Comments: I've fished Dredgers for 3 years. Super strong sharp hooks . For me , the 25's pull very hard but get to depth quickly. Great color selection too.

Comments: These are good crankbiats. They don't pull hard, cast relatively well, and actually get to the depth they say. I've watched 25.5's on active target running right at the 25 foot mark. They also have great hooks for a stock bait. I've caught a lot of fish on these crankbiats and am glad I gave them a try.

Comments: Nice crankbait. Gets down to advertised depth at a smaller profile. Casts well and comes with decent hardware. Highly recommend.

Comments: Great bait, easy to cast long distances, runs to depth quickly without strain on reel or arm. Very happy with the purchase.

Comments: I have been fishing the Berkley Dredger since it first came out. They run true straight out of the box and are easy to tune if need be. These cranks dive deeper than most for their size. They get down deep without cranking your arm off. Plenty of different depths available to dial in the strike zone. These HD baits just flat out get bit. Been throwing the Thread fin Shad in both fresh water and salt water with great results.

Comments: Just be aware that these have loud rattles in them. These are not silent like I had thought. TW needs to write that these have rattles in the description.

Comments: The 10.5 size is comparable to a Rapala DT6. The hooks are extremely sharp, but I did have the back hook bend out pretty early. Overall I can say this is one of my new favorite crank baits.

Comments: My favorite crank bait. Can fish all day without wearing you down, cranks easy. Runs true out of the box, no need to change hardware. Fish catcher. If you fish with crank baits you want the dredger.

Comments: I have accumulated about 30K in various types of tackle most of which has came from TW! The Dredger is another tool in the arsenal and it performs well when called upon.

Comments: Nice tight action. Good castability. Dives deep with just a few cranks.

Comments: The bait looks great! I purchased because I like how true the Berkley baits run and attract fish. I have not thrown the one I bought but I know it will run as advertised. Don't underestimate these bait, adding a couple to your box is a great idea.

Comments: One of the better looking cranks out there, dives deep with half the effort and size of a 5 or 6 strike king xd. Rattle is loud.

Comments: Happy with the overall look and performance of this crankbait.. fished it hard for a few days and the finish isnât real durable.. chipped up and lost its luster pretty quickly I thought.. didnât catch a ton on it for as hard as I fished it but to be fair itâs tough fishing this time of year and the body of water i fish is hit hard..

Comments: The Dredger 14.5 has been my most productive crankbait for about 3 years; the new HD finish and colors look great.
From: Jim: Bull Shoals, AR 7/12/21
Comments: The Dredger 14.5 has been my most productive crankbait for the past two years; bass and walleye alike. The HD colors are new, but I'm expecting the same results from them.
From: Jim: Bull Shoals, AR 2/21/21
Comments: I ordered two of the HD Dredgers. A little disappointed with the quality of the realism. Was expecting a little more I guess. I think Berkley can do better. Should still get bit as long as it swims right.

Comments: This bait is as real as it gets. It dives fast and has that hunting action that flat out catches fish. These high definition finishes are a go to for me. Thanks Berkley and Tackle Warehouse for making and carrying top of the line baits.

Comments: The HD line of the Dredgers are among my favorite crankbaits and with a herring lake as my home lake, I really appreciate the HD BBH finish. It flat out catches fish. My only complaint is the durability of the finish. Rocks and fish will begin to chip the finish as soon as it gets wet.

Comments: Very realistic looking baits, already love the original dredgers can't wait to use the HD colors.
From: Joseph: Saginaw 11/23/20
Comments: I bought 2 of these dredger hd cranks, one dives to 10 and the other to 20. neither was silent. That was why I purchased. Action seems okay but I already have plenty of noisy cranks that don't catch timid fish.

Comments:I like this crankbait! It runs true & looks realistic as well & I have already caught plenty of fish on it!
