Comments: I will never buy this line again. I am a pro at frog fishing and my two brothers fish with me a lot. All three of us had the same problem and that is breakoffs with 30 lb. on hooksets . we had no other issues so depending on your fishing habits this may be a perfect line. I never have this problem with other berkley lines. in one day we lost most of our lures.

Comments: I really like this stuff. I have it on a MH musky rod in 50lb., and a H bass rod in 20lb. I've had not a single issue with it and I really like the crystal color because it's completely free of wax or dyes. In clear water and/or topwater applications I leave it alone, since the white tends to disappear in those conditions, and in darker water I color the first few feet black with a sharpie. I'm using both rods for big pike and musky, the H power bass rod is my finesse setup and the MH musky rod is for the big stuff. It casts just fine, seems very soft and manageable even when pretty new, neither the 20lb. or the 50lb. dig into my reel spools, and it's inexpensive. What's not to like? I'm gonna keep using it. May even try it on a spinning setup, though I do tend to strongly prefer nylon monofilament for that.

Comments: Fantastic braid. I use this on my frog and punching rigs. I avoid the colored lines that leave residue all over (fish don't care in these applications). Very abrasion resistant and very tough. I use the Berkley x9 for my spinning gear. Neither have let me down like other brands have. Price is great too!

Comments: Very good braid. Using it on my spinning rod that i throw nekos and wacky rigs on. I landed a 20lb catfish on it also with no problems on the 10lb

Comments: Just horrible! I was looking for a braid to use on topwater baits like the WP and choppo but his is not it! Breaks very easily... on the cast. Lost a bait in the trees on about the 10th cast and figured maybe it was a bad knot. 10 casts later I fetched a bait from bank as it also broke of during the cast. At this point I thought maybe it was a bad tip/guide on my rod...? I put it up for the day and thoroughly looked over the rod later that evening and found no issues. I spooled a different reel and mounted to a different rod for the next outing. And yep...10 casts in and another plopper in the trees. Put on some old power pro I had and not 1 issue since. Disappointed because I really thought I found what I was looking for... not to mention lost $30 in whopper ploppers and the cost of 2 spools of this crap.
