Really good GlideThese baits work really well and chop just as good as the resin ones. The fact Mike Bucca put his email on a review so people can contact him if they have any issues with the baits shows how he stands behind his baits and will make it right! Also it’s a brand new bait and there may be issues at times but Mike will stand behind his product! These are awesome and they flat get bit.
First SwimbaitSince I don’t have much to compare it too. I’m excited it chops and does a wide glide I just think I have the wrong color but I only fished it once and I like it. I think it’s better on a 7’9 Dobyns Fury Medium Heavy. I can feel what it’s doing. If I catch a big one with it. I’ll let you know what happens

Best Bang for your BuckLots of expensive Glidebaits out there.. This one is not only a great entry level pricepoint but also a BIG bite getter!!
Was this tested?!?I have five of these. The tail has broken on four. The fifth isn’t broken because it’s still in the box. They weren’t aggressive cast. I didn’t hit a dock. It just snapped off. These are too expensive for this to happen. Not acceptable. No, I do not recommend this. Any other Mike Bucca bait I do!
Hook hanger sucksIt was a fun bait caught 15 smallies on it but there was a log just under the water where I couldn't see it and it smacked my bait took off the back hook hanger and dented the hook you get what you want for the price.
JunkFront hook hanger came off on a cast...never even caught a fish on it.
Love Mike Bucca but this issuesI purchased 5-6 of these. I’ve used four. The tail has broken off on three on the cast. That’s lot of money down the drain.
Lots of catches, great swimIt’s the perfect size and we’ve caught a bunch of fish on it. Pearl Bone is the best color where I am.
Great bait, but has some flawsThis bait is a BITE GETTER. But however, the second fish I ever hooked on this bait came up and shook and broke the back hook hanger off.
Great swim bait & priceThis is a great swim bait, especially for the price. It has great action and the 6 inches is a perfect size if you’re looking to get into bigger swim baits.
Super simple to use with great action.I was new to the glide scene and found these to be super simple to use and glide with ease. I fish LOZ and the Ozarks a lot and these baits get bit with my biggest going over 6lbs. I have not had any issues as I see other have. No damage and will keep using them and order more colors.
Not worth the costGreat action, junk hardware. Front hook hanger ripped out on a thrashing 1/2 pound pickerel. Waste of $40…

Rotating hook hangers are junkI've had 2 rotating hook hangers tear out on like 4-5lb fish. One the front hook ripped off the other the back hook ripped off. Solid bait otherwise
Broke within a hour!I got a brand new trick shad and I was fishing for about 45 minutes( with most of that tike wading through the water to fish grass lines) and finsally i got my first bite and wham I broke off on the hookset. It broke on the swivel that keeps the hook.
Bucca glideJust like a lot of people hooks broke off I casted it out it hit the water and I retrieved it back to bank and looked at it and hooks were missing I fixed it and they broke again should of just bought a spro chad shad.
I have had 3 only 2 are operationalFirst off yes they work I broke my pb at a city pond I been fishing for years never nothing over 3 pounds well I dedicated a lot of time with this bait and it paid off I have caught tons of small and decent sized fish on this thing it turned me into a “swim bait “ guy id say now but one week after catching that 6 pound 6 ounce fish I got it snagged in a rock as usual cause I fish from the bank but this time the hook swivel came clean off and to be honest when first inspection I could tell the split rings they used were like ruff cut but yeah I still have 2 and I still throw them but I’d say save up for a clutch eco that’s what I’m saving up for next
Great action until it breaksOne hard fight or one hit against a rock or dock and it’s done I’ve gone through 2 already, first one tail broke off on a cast, 2 one hook broke off.
GREAT ACTION, NOT WORTH THE MONEYAs the title says, great action.. caught me 2 fish in an extremely pressured creek, fish were roughly 1.5 lbs, not even on the same day, didnt bang against any walls or rocks and the front hook hanger fell off. Listen to the reviews, thought it was a dud, but not buying another.
Never buy another oneI've bought 2 the first one the hook broke and snapped at the swivel after catching a fish and the second one gets stuck on retrieve so it only swims to the right and doesn't glide
Huge disappointmentThe action on these is perfect but they have a huge flaw that makes them useless. The paper thin hook hangers break on any fish over 4lb! I should've listened to the reviews saying this exact thing. Bucca should be ashamed to have his name behind this!
One of favorite baits!Been fishing glide baits and big swimbaits for about a year. This bait is awesome, have caught lots of nice bass on it. Great for flipping docks and twitching like a dying shad. Sinks relatively slow but not too slow. Swims awesome and glides awesome.
Bought a second one and the tail was sticking. Mike sent me a video on how to clean the burr off of the hinge. It worked but definitely shouldn't have to do that on a $40 bait. Never the less it's still a great bait.
Awesome but terribleThe bait absolutely gets bites and has drawing power. The action was fantastic. BUT the durability is garbage. Only got to run mine for a few hours before it broke on one side of the tail and now it's worthless. I should have known. Catch-co. Will not buy again unless Mike finds a better manufacturer. The design and action was 10/10. Build 1/10.
JunkTied the trick shad on at the house. Got to the lake to pull out the rod with the trick shad on it and the back hook swivel breaks in half. Never even got the lure in the water.
Didn't last 1 hourWas really excited to throw new trick shad. Used in open water for less than an hour the front treble hook gone(rod that holds it in vanished) and the the joint is junk too sticking not allowing tail to freely kick. Extremely disappointed. Before it broke action was great but I basically wasted $40.
It gets ChokedSimply a great bait, design, components and action make for an excellent choice for a " Notnbreaking the bank " kind of glide bait! Fish react very well as the baitnis very responsive to rod twitched or reel bumps! Higly recommend!!
Good cover glideIt works great, you cant walk it in place but it chops pretty well. It has a little bit of a faster sink rate but a little floating board can make it suspend. I would swap hooks, there not the sharpest but they are heavy duty. Overall a great cover glide and you can probably throw it on a MH or even a flipping rod if you need to.
Nice shad cover glideLive this glide, it works well, cant walk it in place but that's fine it still walks pretty good. I would replace hooks, they aren't the sharpest but works great, super lightweight, it sinks a little faster than a slow sink but if you put on a small strip of floating board you can make it suspend. It is very hard to keep the bass off this glide.
AmazingI picked up one of these and man do they look good, this bait is more of a chopping glide and it looks amazing you can still slow it down and make it do the 180 and man does it get crushed.
Awesome baitPicked one of these up at a local shop and took it to the power plant smallmouth river I fish. This is by a mile the easiest glide I’ve ever thrown. You can get effectively chop the bait or fish it fast, but you can also slow it down and do surprisingly wide glides. A lot of shad baits are kinda herky jerky when you slow them down but this has the smooth natural turns you see with a big trout shaped bait. Wish they made these in 8” so I could use them for musky.
