Overview

A new approach to tackle storage, the Cal Coast Fishing Battle Box Tackle Storage System maximizes space and organization with a one-of-a-kind, dynamic design. Built to last, the stackable Cal Coast Fishing Battle Box Tackle Storage System is molded from a durable plastic and fitted with a triple-latched, O-ring sealed, scratch-resistant, transparent lid.

Inside, the Cal Coast Fishing Battle Box Tackle Storage System features a series of “ammo cans” which are held in place with custom cut foam inserts. Each ammo can is transparent, making it easy to identify contents at a glance. Satisfying storage needs for a variety of tackle; the ammo cans come in two sizes, open with a quick squeeze, and come equipped with foam stopper that keeps weights from bouncing around.

Ensuring precise storage for larger weights and hooks, the Cal Coast Fishing Battle Box Tackle Storage System features a transparent rectangular box that is dubbed the “tackle mag.” Included with interchangeable, custom molded foam inserts, the tackle mag holds hard to store items, like big weights and hooks, firmly in place. Particularly handy for co-anglers, kayak anglers, and shore anglers, the Cal Coast Fishing Battle Box Tackle Storage System combines innovative modular design with unbeatable quality, ensuring absolute organization on the water.

Comments: Bought this when it first came out years ago, still have it and it still looks brand new. One of the best terminal tackle boxes out there if not THE best. I would recommend for anybody! It is a bit bulky so any run and gun fisherman need to understand this might not fit in certain tackle bags.

Comments: Love this box. Been using it for a few months now. The quality is excellent and it is very sturdy. I just wish it was a tad bigger, but then again, how big is big enough when it comes to fishing tackle. I feel like I just need a few more containers for all of the different style of hooks. Guess I'm just gunna buy another one and dedicate one for hooks and one for weights. lol

Comments: Bought it several years ago and it has held up well. Best terminal tackle storage ever.

Comments: One of the best fishing investments I've ever made. 100% worth the money.

Comments: Not waterproof. At all. They do not form a tight enough seal to be waterproof and moisture will find its way inside these boxes. Also TW does not sell the attachment for the inside lid where you can store more accessories like hooks. It is a useless accessory because there is not enough clearance and if you put anything in it the box will not close properly. CalCoast please re-think the design of this box because it is great for storing my terminal tackle and keeping things organized.

Comments: Mixed feelings about this. I have 2 I like to use them for some of my terminal tackle in the boat. PROBLEM is they are not waterproof! If you get moisture or water in your boat compartment it will also get into these boxes. They are supposed to be waterproof and for the cost they should function properly. Highly disappointed they are not waterproof. Cal Coast needs to re-think these. Not sure if it's their design or just a generic box from China that they modified but wither way they need to make the actually waterproof

Comments: AMAZING BOX! I bought this to better organize terminal tackle. It holds a ton and keeps everything water tight. This box allowed me to condense two terminal boxes in to one. Will be buying a second box.

Comments: Without a doubt the best Terminal Tackle Box I've used. I also use these for Finesse and Swimbait heads/hooks.

From: Jeff: Bartlesville, OK 9/5/19

Comments: Cal Coast Battle Box is the best hook organizer I’ve ever owned. Most hook boxes I’ve ever owned had removable dividers and my hooks would slid under and get mixed up. The battle box is well made heavy duty and lots of room to store you sinkers, hooks and jig heads.  I would highly recommend this tackle box.

Comments: I bought this box because I was not fully satisfied with Bass Mafia terminal coffin layout/design. After switching all my terminal tackle to the battle box I couldn't be happier with the layout and ease of access to get to my tackle. One of my ammo cans came cracked and the foam hook holder was split. I contacted Cal Coast in the morning and by the afternoon I received a shipping notification for the replacement ammo can and foam hook holder no questions asked. You can not ask for better service and a product.

Comments: I ordered my new Battle Box from TW and couldn't be happier! I loaded it up last night for a video and now my terminal tackle is all organized. I like the foam plungers that keep things from rattling around, and the round labels that fit nicely on the top of the containers. I didn't use the plastic dividers, but it's nice to have them in case I decide to reconfigure the box. This thing is solid, especially the latches. Should last a long time! Designed to be stackable. I may have to order another!

Comments: I like it.  I have been using a difficult to find clear(ish) terminal tackle box and had even glued in a layer of padding on the inside of the lid to keep things in place. Nevertheless, when I travel the airlines manage to crack it ans my stuff gets scattered - so I tried this.  This is a well thought out design and with some minor adjustment can be great.  The container lids have raised lettering, assuring your provided labels will not stick. No fear. Simply write on both sides of the sticker and adhere it to the inside of the lid.  The glue side absorbs ink so use a sharpie.  The plastic dividers need a lot of lube to slide into place, but I wont be using them. My luggage was handled very roughly and a lot of my standard 3600 & 3700 boxes were broken.  This held up like a champ.
