Overview

Embodying the idea of pushing outside of the norm, the Daiwa Rebellion Bass Casting Rods are designed and crafted with the looks, specs, and features of custom high-end rods, minus the price tag. Built using advanced Braiding-X technology, the Daiwa Rebellion Bass Casting Rods prevent torsion caused by casting and hooksets, and dramatically improve power, operability, and sensitivity. Also equipped with X45 technology, the Daiwa Rebellion Bass Casting Rods are designed using a 45-degree bias construction, which prevents twisting of the blank for greater strength, sensitivity, and hook setting power.

In contrast to standard carbon rods, the Daiwa Rebellion Bass Casting Rods are constructed with HVF (High Volume Fibers) that use less resin, resulting in a lighter, more sensitive construction. Fitted with Daiwa’s exclusive Air Sensor reel seat to further reduce weight, the Daiwa Rebellion Bass Casting Rods are ready to defy the expectations of what an affordable rod can be. Step outside of the norm and join the rebellion.

Features:

-Braiding-X technology
-X-45 blank technology

Comments: Have most of the rods in the rebellion series except 2pc. and everyone is impressive. Being discontinued so snag them while you can. Expride lovers should try them before they are gone, you probably like at least some of the rebellions even better.

Comments: These rods are the absolute best you can buy for $200. My ONLY complaint about this rod is the lack of a bait keeper. Other than that I now have three and plan to get a few more.

Comments: I recently purchased a Daiwa Rebellion 7011mfs spinning rod, paired it with a Daiwa Tatula 3000. This is my all Daiwa set-up, J-Braid included. i have ZERO complaints. Well, maybe a factory hook keeper would be nice, however I did buy a Fuji hook keeper and really like that I can put it anywhere I'd like !! First, it's a JDM rod, that in itself means quality. Next you'll notice, is how well it cast. The fast tip is very sensitive, and every little bump is felt, all the way to the butt end of the rod. The fast tip also gives enough help, to keep the hook well entrenched in the fish's mouth. But don't let the sensitivity fool ya, there's plenty of strength built in this rod to bring in almost any freshwater fish that swims. Would I buy another Daiwa Rebellion rod, you bet!

Comments: Ive owned the 7'3 MH for over a year. It is one of my favorite that I own. It is able to do anything you want. I first got it for frog and topwater fishing and did well with that. Then I started throwing chatterbaits and smaller glide baits on it and it has been able to do it all with ease. If you are looking for a rod that can do everything good this is the rod because it doesn't do everything well it does everything great.

Comments: Just got the 6'10 MHR. Wow what a awesome rod. Super light weight and very well balanced. Think I am going to use it for spinnerbaits. This just looks awesome..The action feels really good casting a 1/2 once spinnerbait. Loads really nice. Might get the 7'3 MH. next. Looks a lot better than the elite series.

Comments: Defiantly my fastest action rod compared to my st croix and okuma casting rods. Caught five rainbows and one pike. Only one small one got off. I'm somewhat of a decent aim and a hooked a beaver it kept pulling line until he broke off again and again. This two piece rod is powerful if a beaver is hooked and while the rod is getting tested hard away with my drag set pretty tight this rod handles whatever you hook. There's a place and time for a faster action rod. You need a fast reel.

Comments: I purchased the 7'6" Heavy and have used it on a few trips for flipping and light punching. I'm very happy with the rod. Very light and well balanced. Sensitivity is very good for the price. More sensitive than the Tatula Elite (non-AGS). One thing to note is the handle is very thin. I'm average size with average size hands and it's noticeable thinner than any rod I've ever used. Doesn't bother me, but if you have large hands, it could be an issue. Overall, I'm very happy with the rod and would not hesitate to purchase another.

Comments: I'm sure there are others out there looking at this series of rods like I was, and since there are no reviews on them I'll leave what I can.  I own 2-7'4 MH, 1-7'11H, 1-7'3MHG and 1 7'MG. For starters these are by far the lightest rods I have ever picked up.  If you use a light reel sub 7oz they will balance a tad tip heavy, but the balance point is still only an inch or so above the reel seat.  The 7'11H I have is actually lighter than a full graphite 6'7MH competitor brand rod.  When I first picked these rods up I was worried they were going to be too brittle.  After having them out a few times now I can confidently say these rods will boat flip fish with the best of the graphite rods.  The action and power listed is appropriate for what I would expect out of a rod in this price range.  The CF rods are about 80/20 and the glass rods are about 65/35. The trade off with these rods is they are not the most sensitive rods on the planet.  I would give them an 8/10 in sensitivity.  You're not going to miss feeling a fish, and you're going to be able to feel 90% of what you are hitting on the bottom.  Transition changes from rock to wood to muck are all able to be felt through the rod.  I'm sure these rods with AGS guides would be out of this world, but they also wouldn't be at this price point. So if you're looking for a super light rod with great action and good sensitivity I feel this line is priced appropriately.  There is nothing about them that makes me regret spending $200 a piece on them.  Obviously being new time will tell how they hold up, but after about 20 hours on the water with them I'm happy with my purchase.
