Comments: I bought the 7'11 medium, heavy rod earlier this year I was looking for a rod with better sensitivity and castability without breaking the bank. This was exactly what I was looking for! So far I used it on a 3 day smallmouth fishing trip in northern Wisconsin, and was not disappointed. Caught many bass ranging between the two and 6 pound range also caught a 3 foot and a 4 foot musky. This rod handled them perfectly. I have it paired with a Shimano Ultegra, 3000 I am very happy with this rod. It is lightweight, durable, sensitive, and casts great. Also tackle warehouse shipped it timely and in a very sturdy cardboard tube with the tip Well padded.

Comments:  I waited a year to review this rod. I have several other rods in the $100-$150 range including multiple different types of st croix, Lews and other daiwas. Save the extra few dollars and buy this. I have the 7'3 m xfast tip and it is mind blowing how much more sensitive this rod is feeling the bottom than anything else I own. Iâ•Â˙ve caught lots of smallmouth this year with it and typically use it for ned rig, perfect amount of backbone to get the hook into a fish even when rigged weedless. I can't say it enough, I LOVE THIS ROD.

Comments: I bought this one in 7'3 M for drop shot, I don't D.S often (have to admit it's so boring) but when I do I use only this rod. I'm guessing about 50 bass caught since I bought it, it does great. Perfect tip to visually see your bite before you feel the bite, so kudos to making a perfect drop shot reel tip daiwa. Other then that, not much of a review. I do think the price point is spot on! I paired mine up with a shimano Stradic K. Discontued now so think Stradic L an even nicer spinning reel. Until it should break this will always be my d.s rod. Does a great job, no need to look for a replacement.

Comments: Very happy with my Tatula Elite 7'3" Medium Howell, good action with the right amount of tip. Using a 1/8 oz Shakey Head with a 5 or 6 in  finesse worm, great casting distance and good sensitivity and indications are it will do equally as well with a drop shot. Light weight and good balance I couldn't ask for anything more at this price point.

Comments: 7-1 MH - Howell.  Decent rod, but I didn't love it enough to keep it.  After a days use, and several fish catches, there were a couple things I didn't like.  I felt it was heavy for a rod in this price point, or at least the thickness of the handle/reel seat made it feel heavier than it is.  It's just a thick wad of plastic in your hand, and I prefer to have my hand on the blank.  Also, the keeper is behind the reel seat/handle, and had I noticed this prior to purchase, I wouldn't have proceeded.  On a casting rod, this can work fine as you can hook your bait into the reel, but not on a spinny set-up.  I stuck my hooks in my gloves multiple times during the day, not paying attention to where the bait was stored on the keeper when I picked it up off my deck.  Again, a decent rod, but it wasn't for me, and I think there are better options in the $180.00 price point.
