Overview
Unlike other tail spinners, the Damiki Axe Blade features a double hook just below the spinner blade to help you land those short bites you miss with other baits. The unique design of the rear hook also ensures it doesn’t interfere with the blade’s action or other treble. A great bait for targeting suspended fish, count it down to your desired depth, slowly retrieve it back to the boat, and let the Axe Blade go to work. Available in a range of colors, the Damiki Axe Blade will help you make the most of your tail spinner fishing.

chrome peeling off the bladeI have bought quite a few of these baits, but lately, the chrome starts to lift off the blade. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for this problem.

Comments: Gets bit but quality is lacking compared to a few years ago, the stinger/trailer hook came off while I was reeling it in, not even sure how that's possible without split ring pliers.

Comments: This is the best tailspinner available. I have tried many brands and molds and sizes. It's a tad annoying that the blade will catch the double stinger hook every once in a while but it's just part of it. I'd love to see 1/2 oz size with same sized blade or maybe 1 size smaller. Other than that, it's a little more expensive than the others but sure seems to get the job done. Well done, Damiki!

Comments: The best tailspin on the market if they add a half ounce size! This bait is phenomenal, it swims great and that stinger hook on the back is key for landing fish that swipe at the blade. Great bait but please make it in 1/2 oz Damiki

Comments: I have a few of these and it works, but the tail spin blade and tailspin hook is constantly giving me problems where the rubber band holding them together keeps slipping off messing up the retrieve. The problem was known on the review page here at TW, somehow it seem to have dissappeared. It's good, it works, but the design need to be better for the price range.

Comments: The Damiki Axe Blade is the best tail spinner I have ever thrown. It is a consistent producer, even on pressured fish. Casting distance is exceptional. Hook-up percentage is extremely good; fish rarely miss it or pull off. The finish is durable. It is an all-around good fish-catcher for offshore or schooling fish, especially in colder water
