Comments: Received two of the Black Holo Rambler 120s just in time for wide open surface bite here in San Diego. Annihilated the bass in early mornings on this lure! I found best action by jerking it to turn it sideways, pause, then repeat. Calmer the water, longer the pauses. Blow ups are intense on this size of a bait! Two things though, first is that the paint is wasted both sides both lures from just two mornings fishing. Hooks scrape the lure while working it or while fighting bass and then paint just peels leaving a dull bone color underneath. Lures still catch bass though! Second is that the three trebles are nasty on the bass! Many fish end up with a hook in the mouth, another in gill rakers and the rear hook in the side. Major surgery with needle nose pliers to get the bass un-hooked and back in the water!

Comments: I bought this on a recommendation from a friend who also happens to be pro-staff for damiki. His words were "check out the rambler, it's pretty sweet." Now, i'm not saying it's not a good lure. It's just that in my opinion it walks very lazy. I've definitely gotten attention while throwing it but I've never hooked a fish on it. When i first threw it, I felt the walking action was very lacking so I decided to take the feathers off which helped a bit but it still walked very narrow. You have to work it pretty hard to get it to walk like anything compared to a super spook. If I were to describe the difference between this and a spook it would be that the walk of the rambler resembles that of a person walking a tightrope whereas the walk of a spook resembles that of a man who had just been on a horse for about 5 hours. Pick the right tool for the job.

Comments: I've bought these a couple years in a row . I caught a lot of fish with this lure . I have just one issue with this lure . The lure just makes it through a season until the knocker in it locks up and never works the same again . So if your looking for a lure that will produce this is it . I'm just a little upset that I have to keep buying them every year.

Comments: First day using this bait I landed two 4lbers, but missed one as well. The bait has an awesome twitch to it & I love the way it splashes water from side to side when you walk it hard. Only downfall I have seen so far is that sometimes the middle & rear treble hooks will tangle & cause the bait to run weird. All in all my favorite walking bait hands down! Great action!

Comments: Hands down best top water lure available. 10x better than a vixen & paycheck repo baits by far. Paint jobs hold up better, their louder & their only 12$. Best kept secret.

Comments: This Damiki Rambler 120 has got my attention. What I particularly like about it is how well it works with varied retrieves. I can work it hard with sharp twitches, tossing water and making a commotion, or really slowly with gentle pulls for a more tantalizing action. Either way, it walks beautifully. It's also quite good in choppy water, something a lot of walkers can't handle at all. It makes a hellava racket with the two kinds of internal rattles. I'm not sure if that's a useful feature or not. But if you favor noisy baits, you can hear this baby 100' away.

Comments: Good walking lure that makes a lot of noise and throws a lot of water. I've found that adding a split ring kills the action and makes it harder to walk.
