Comments: I broke a 752 Xtasy spinning before 6 months. TW no hassle replacement, since it was less than 6 months. Broke the replacement. Both time, my user error. Sent cut rod section proving model to Dobyns. No hassle replacement for $130. I'll take no hassle $130 vs a false lifetime warranty with poor service. Talk to Dobyns all the time. They're never annoyed and happy to talk shop and answer my stupid questions. NRX, p5 destroyers. I don't care about cosmetics and slightly more sensitivity. Balance/comfort, durability, service and tip/taper actions are what I value from Dobyns. I'm done trying out another brand from time to time. I've never had a Dobyns guide break unless it was blatantly my fault. I love the Kadens, Champs just as much as the Xtasy

Comments: I have the 753 sf, and boy does this thing transmit vibrations. Getting hit on this thing feels like a jackhammer cranking at full throttle in your hands, and any slight bite is easily noticeable. The rod also allows me to get an incredible feel for the makeup of any section of lake bottom which has helped me to better focus on targets that I hadn't know about before. On top of that the fit and finish is immaculate, and the action of the rod is perfect. There is plenty of tip, but once the backbone is reached it locks right off which I love, It really keeps fish pinned well. Overall I'd have to give this rod 5 stars, and although I haven't used an NRX, I can say that the wand like feel of this rod from its perfect balance and light weight is plenty fancy and absolutely adequate for me.

Comments: 7'5" Med Lt paired with a 3000 Vanford. Mainly used for neds and sometimes drop shots. Due to the sensitivity it has increased my confidence with cold water ned dragging dead sticking. I recently casted a heavy casting rod and behind me smacked and broke the tip off this rod cuz I rent 12' boats at this 1 place that only allows their rentals in that body of water. TW is amazing. 6 month grace period no questions asked replacement on this rodâ¦.just bought it in March. TW sent me shipping label. Shipped broken rod and received new replacement rod within 10 days.

Comments: Xtasy 7'5" paired with a Daiwa Certate = finesse heaven... perfect match.. treat yourself

Comments: As others have said this rod is hard to beat. I own the 753SF and my goodness this is a high performance rod. It doesn't have the brittle feeling that the NRX has. The Xtasy feels quite stronger, but because it balances so well it feels lighter than my NRX. Don't misread that as the rod is heavy, because it's not. It is just as light as the rest in this price range, but it definitely balances better. The sensitivity is just as good as the NRX, but because this rod has a lot more tech (smoother cork, better balance/strength/guides, etc.) I am consistently choosing this rod over all my others. It is a pleasure to fish with. These are excellent rods. Highly recommend!

Comments: I bought the 752 and it's phenomenal. Sensitivity is off the charts. It balances better perfect, and is just a pleasure to fish with. After a few trips out with this rod I'm looking for ways to buy more. Dobyn's blew everyone else out of the water with this rod. A buddy of mine sarcastically asked if this rod caught me more fish, and after 3 hours on the water I had landed 13 fish, and he landed 2. One of those he actually landed on this rod. Needless to say he loves this rod, and is currently saving up to get one next month. During the cold months when the bite gets tough, I'll take every advantage I can get, and even when the fish are barely picking up the lures you'll feel it. Do yourself a favor and buy one of these. You won't regret it. The build quality and performance is unmatched.

Comments: I bought the Xtasy DRX 752 (7'5" ML), and it is simply the best rod I've ever fished. I wasn't sure what rod would be a good fit for me, so I emailed Dobyn's and Gary called me the next day. We chatted for around an hour about my fishing style and what I was looking for. The way Gary talks you can just hear the passion he has for fishing. I told him I wanted an Xtasy for finesse and he steered me towards this rod. The name 'Xtasy' is very fitting. It is a league of it's own! It is so sensitive it's absurd. I was swinging at everything! I'm going to have to re-learn how to fish! Even when the fish just barely picks up your lure, you'll know it. The tip is very responsive. I imagine this would be an excellent drop shot option (despite the fact I haven't tried that technique with this rod). Neds, shakey heads, and finesse jigs have all worked phenomenally! I can bomb casts with 1/4oz to 1/2oz lures when paired with my Stradic Ci4+ (I need an Exsence for this rod soon), and the guides are very quiet with my 10lb Sunline Asegai to 6lb Tatsu leader. The guides are also so, so sensitive, and don't chew up my connection knots. I fished all day with the same leader and knot. The balance is excellent! My reel just disappears while I fish! The AAAA cork feels so soft and comfortable! Need to fish all day? The weight + balance + cork = a very unique and comfortable all-day fishing experience. To top all of this off the Xtasy has some serious sex appeal. This rod is beautiful! Is it worth the price? To me it is. I feel so many more hits and light strikes, especially during the cold months right now. Even the lightest tap sends a very distinct impulse up the rod and into your hand. I have no doubt when a fish strikes, even when it just picks up my lure. If you love finesse fishing, this is the rod to use. This rod does not disappoint. Not sure what to buy? Email Dobyn's. Their customer service is second-to-none! No matter what you get, though, if it's an Xtasy it will dominate. I am ruined for life!!

Comments: All I will say is, don't pick one up if you don't have the money to buy it right there... These rods are ridiculously light weight, unbelievable balance and the build quality and finish is impressive. I paired my 722 with a Shimano Exsence 3000 and this combo feels like a feather in my hand. Weight less Senkos, nailed weighted Senkos and any other application where feel is extremely important, this is an excellent combo. Dobyns hit a home run here, although I acknowledge the price tag is steep...

Comments: These rods are amazing! Sensitivity weight and balance of these rods are incredible. Have the 721 sf for drop shot and hair jigs, the 753 sf for small swimbaits and tubes. I thought the Champion extremes were awesome until these came out.
