Overview
A new bigger version of the original Sculpo Crankbait, the Duckett Baits Sculpo XD Rattlin Crankbaits now offer anglers the ability to reach much deeper depths and draw bigger strikes. Featuring a low-profile body that is equipped with a precise internal weighting system, the advanced weighting system creates an irresistible wobbling action, a loud fish attracting rattle, and provides exceptional casting distance. Also equipped with a precisely cut polycarbonate lip, which allows it to dive to its desired running depth quickly, maximizing its time in the strike zone, the bill provides outstanding deflection capabilities as well, and protects against snags as it comes over cover.
Covered in lifelike detailing, the Sculpo XD Rattlin’ Crankbait features molded gill plates, large 3D eyes, and textured scale patterns that add an extra level of attraction. Armed with two razor-sharp treble hooks for improved hooking capabilities, the Sculpo XD Rattlin’ Crankbait takes a proven design to new depths to help you keep your livewell full.

Comments: Duckett is a brand I am warming up to for lures. They are absolutely a rebranded Molix, though. I have identical ones sporting both labels. Duckett seems to offer more rational paint colors. You also don't feel like you are enriching a potty-mouthed guy, who acts like he is twelve, with the Duckett label. The Sculpo XD does a very nice job of getting the classic "wart" action down deep. It does this without getting too huge of a body. The thing I like best about "Duckett" lures is that they usually offer a configuration not found in another lure. This one is no different. If you fish western reservoirs with steep shorelines, this gets the wart action down in the zone where the fish often hold in the summer. That is unique. The lavender one I just received barely has any of the chartreuses on it that are pictured. The hooks and rings are very decent for a ten buck lure. There is no weight transfer. These aren't a Duo, OSP, or Deps, but they also cost half as much. They are more in the Spro quality range, and that is fine company. I went long since this lure has been around without reviews.
