Overview
One of the most technologically advanced jerkbaits to ever make its way from Japan, the Duo Realis Jerkbait 100DR allows anglers to get away with heavier line and still reach the prime, fish-holding depths. Designed to dive deeper with less effort, the Duo Realis Jerkbait 100DR features a sophisticated magnetic weight transfer system that gives it an erratic, yet well-balanced movement.
The weight transfer system is also responsible for delivering long, bullet-like casts that give anglers the ability to cover more water with fewer casts. To further its fish-catching prowess, the Duo Realis Jerkbait also comes equipped with a resonating rattle chamber that delivers a mouthwatering underwater pitch.
Made to withstand abuse from the largest and most aggressive predators, the Duo Realis Jerkbait 100DR is constructed with thick walls, a reinforced lip, and internal framing that can handle vicious strikes. Covered in an intricate scaling pattern, the Duo Realis Jerkbait 100DR delivers dares to go where other jerkbaits won't, to catch the fish that other jerkbaits can't.

Comments: This is one of the jerkbaits that I catch the most bass on over the longest portion of the year. That is with throwing about every type of premium jerkbait made over the last twenty-five years, including many that aren't imported to the USA or still in production. Jerkbaits are one of the couple of techniques I've augered into the most. I find that short sweeps, verses faster and longer jerks are usually better for deep diving models, including this one. However, these Duo's do jerk better than other deep ones that want to work more towards the crankbait spectrum. I am not aware of a better made, equipped, and more durable jerkbait, for the money. The long out of production Megabass Live-X Leviathan is the only one that I rank close to this particular Duo. I like the Duo action better, but the Leviathan is 10mm shorter, which can sometimes be more effective. I wish Duo would also make this great bait in an 85-90mm version. I find that fish lying deeper in the spring often prefer smaller than four-inch jerkbaits. Side pools (behind eddy areas) and margins of rivers and inlets are great places for these.

Comments: I agree with the review about this being a slow float: when left alone, it's very nose down and slow float (in 54 degree water). To remedy this, I put a an Owner 3x Size 2 hook in the back. The result was a level, slow sink jerkbait that probably gets even deeper than out of the box

Comments: I mean the pics of this thing on TW should say enough and how this bait has only 2 reviews.... Well, that tells you how good this bait is. No one wants to talk about it. Phenomenal paint jobs, The best stock hooks. There is not a lure on the market that comes with better hooks than what Duo puts on theirs. Always out of stock for a reason. When you see these in stock you better get em while you can because they'll be gone within a couple of days leaving you to hunt around on ebay paying more than you should.

Comments: I'm suprised there arent more reviews on this lure. This is the cream of the crop when it comes to deep diving Jerkbaits. It gets deeper than my Lucky Craft Stayee 90s and it does not pull as hard. How is that even possible? The lip is much longer and more durable than the Staysee too. Hooks are fantasic too, they will handle any bass easily. Manificient engineering by Duo once again.

Comments: This jerkbait just flat hunts. Picked one up about a week ago. The weight transfer system works well, and keeps the bait from helicoptering in a cast. Lots of flash, good dart and roll underwater. Dives deep. The only thing I will say, this bait (for me) has a slow float, and heavier than typical hooks for a jerkbait. That being said, they are still quite sticky for stock hooks. There is some hook rash in the finish after a day fishing it, but will definately be buying more.
