A freestyle soft bait that skillfully handles both moving and static actions, the EISVOGEL Freegel Bug features wide claws that firmly stir water during freefall or when swimming with an exquisite water-pushing feeling. Created for free-rig applications, the Freegel Bug was built to maximize slowness and speed of movement which also makes it highly compatible with weightless techniques, naked football heads, Texas rigs, nail rigs, or as a jig trailer.
When rigged weightless, the deep ribs on the abdomen of the Freegel Bug firmly grab water to suppress the rate of fall and create a horizontal posture, while the legs and whiskers are optimally placed throughout the body to vibrate on the fall. Available in proven fish-catching color patterns, the EISVOGEL Freegel Bug includes a center slit on the belly to increase your hook-up rate to ensure don’t miss out on long-distance bites that often occur on the first drop.
