Built around a 40-ton Japanese Toray Fabric blank and a proprietary 100% graphite nano-tube design, the Angler Series Spinning Rods are fitted with Fx signature Winn grip handles to reduce weight and provide a secure grip when wet.
Equipped with Fuji tangle-free K-Frame corrosion control guides and fazelite inserts, these premium finesse rods employ a braid-ready and rod locker tough guide system that ensures they perform effectively throughout the life of the rod. Finished with 100% graphite casting reel seats to enhance bite transmission, the FX Xtreme Angler Series Spinning Rods provide exceptional sensitivity and reduced weight by using no extra paint or vibration-robbing parts like paint, rubber, or tape.

Comments: Through the years I've owned just about every rod. From your $99 veritas up to G-loomis, etc, and this is the only rod that has let me down. I take care of my equipment but have had two rods break right above reel seat while casting (1/2 oz chatterbait and 3/8 swimjig) and one on hookset (jig with 16lb fluoro in 20ft of water). All 3 times customer service has argued it was my fault. Will never buy an FX again.
