Comments: These are a great idea! Used to use the black o-ring style but after two or three fish the worm was lost when the fish pulled it free of the ring. Very frustrating, especially with a hot bite. The game changed after switching to these tubes. By downsizing from the recommended 7mm to a 6mm for Yamamoto senkos the tubes are tight and I have not lost any worms that fish have pulled out. In fact, now worms are changed when they get too chewed up, not lost. Hooks are used parallel, not perpendicular

Comments: I found colored electrical tape works great for rigging the hook across the bait. These rings are nice too. They extend the life of the bait more than the o-ring.  Still, I really like the universal performance of a wacky rig.

Comments: The tubes hold up very well if you hook under the tubing, between the tube and worm.  If you hook through the tubes it tears easily.   I barely managed a fish per tube this way!  Even a small drop shop hook quickly tears the tube this way. I tested this by hand too.  If you hook perpendicular to the worm these will be a disaster.  Parallel rigging is very good but these are way too pricey to only work one way and they are marketed to work both ways.

Comments: Great product--works better than rubber o-rings.  I prefer putting the hook between the tube and the bait for neko rigging and through the plastic for wacky style rigging.  Extends the life of fragile soft plastics.

Comments: I do not use the O'Rings anymore and have totally switched to these sleeves.  They get pricey but they work so much better and pay for themselves with the baits you can use for multiple fish.  No more throwing off a new Senko on every fish you catch.  I buy the 7mm for 5 inch Senkos and purchased the pliers tool that makes it much easier to get these on.  If you are throwing Wacky rigged Senkos these will pay for themselves and then some.  Works great for Neko rigs too.

Comments: I purchased these to prolong the life of pocket rockets and senkos when fishing them wacky style as well as Neko rigging.  The pliers are a neat tool and make it pretty easy to to get the sleeves onto the worm.  For Neko rigging, the sleeves are great, they hold up well and don't slide around on the worm.  I hooked between the sleeve and plastic and worms help up much longer than compared with the wacky rings I used to use. When I hook perpendicular to the worm for wacky rigging, the sleeve holds up for about 3-4 fish before the hook holes begin to tear.  The smaller the gauge hook, the less they tear. It seems like they sacrificed a little durability to make it soft enough so that the sleeve can move freely on the hook as to not interfere with hook sets.  I went through 1 sleeve per 3-4 fish on average using the Tsuyoi 2/0 hook on stick baits.  Naturally, the durability depends on all sorts of factors, not the least of which is how aggressive and aerobatic the fish fight.  I also found that by the time the pocket rocket was about the split in half, the sleeve was ready to be replaced. Some might see this as a solution in search of a problem, and at the price, it's understandable.  But I'm a fan of this system over the original rings if for no other reason than they don't cut through plastics thus saving me money over the long run.
