Fitted with a wire keeper on the shank, the G-Finesse Stinger Drop Shot Hook locks plastics in place and orientates the hook point farther down the bait, which is perfect for short striking fish. The Tournament Grade Wire (TGW) is also thinner and stronger than normal carbon steel for increases strength and hook penetration. Fly fishing the Z-man micro goat.Wrap 1/2 of a Storm Suspend strip around the shaft of a size 6, just below the ‘keeper’, coat with u v resin or super glue, cure or let dry, then insert into the micro goat. Now you have a <2” micro craw-fly with excellent action which murders all types of panfish and bass. I am using it on a 6 weight and will soon try other mini-finesse plastics. (My first goat version caught 11 large bluegill and 3 bass and is still tied on…..may glue the next one one).
