Designed by Major League Fishing pro, Alton Jones Jr., the Geecrack Bellows Shad helped Alton win over 150K in competition during the development and is precision engineered to his exact specification for versatility to get bites anywhere in the country. Building on the success of the Bellow Gill series, the Geecrack Bellows Shad features the same deep ridges but a slimmer design and tapered tail shape that allows for a strong swimming action fish simply can’t resist. Alton also designed the body shape to be an ideal trailer for bladed jigs and spinnerbaits, as well as, provide a compact profile for flipping and pitching into tight cover.
Increasing attraction a step further, the Geecrack Bellows Shad boasts the signature SAF material that has made Geecrack baits so successful. Utilizing a combination of Salt, Aminos, and Flavor, the proprietary formula creates a distinctive scent and texture that fish bite and hold onto longer. Available in a wide assortment of colors, the Geecrack Bellows Shad has a proven track record of catching big check-cashing bass.

Muddy Gill Color change? The Muddy Gill has been a staple of mine in both the Shad and the Gill for years.
Sometime this year (2025) the laminate color changed; it’s no longer a blue/green…. It’s now a blue/brown.
I don’t get the same hookup or bite ratio on this new color combo , not even close !

Great bait but wayyyyy too brittleThese things are amazing for catching bass but its literally one plastic per fish. Super soft and fragile, fish literally tear the body in half. At $2 a plastic ain't worth it.

I like this better than Bellows Gill!I've started using this more than the Bellows Gill. It feels like there are more uses for the Bellows Shad. I've been Texas Rigging it with a 1/4oz weight around docks and shallow cover. Also, it's a sneaky good buzzbait trailer too!

Comments: Bought three packs of the Bellows Shad in Electric Shad #268. Fished them the last 2 days with a 1/4 Devine swim head.(white head).(pond fishing). I crushed the bass and also caught 8 crappie in about one hour. I believe the fish haven't seen these before and react quickly on them. They are a little fragile, but you get unbelievable action out of the bait. After a fish or 2 I would super glue the head on. I did manage to catch 7 bass on one Bellows Shad. I watched Alton Jones Jr. use them in a tournament, pitching, and he crushed the field. If you're always throwing the same lures, give these a shot.

Comments: It's the slim version of Bellows Gill and has that awesome action just like the original Bellows Gill! I like to flip this bait with a 1/4oz sinker. I can catch fish behind people throwing those regular beaver/brush hog style baits.

Comments: This bait is so versatile! It can be fished with Texas rig flipping around covers, C-rig, even on a chatterbait trailer. The action is amazing just like Bellows Gill.

Comments: Looks like a larger 10,000 fish yoto worm! Swim action is crazy!
