Overview

Giving anglers everything they would ever want in a craw style bait, the Googan Baits Krackin’ Craw is perfect for a variety of applications and simply triggers bites. Molded with a realistic crawfish body shape, the Googan Baits Krackin’ Craw features oversized pinchers with raised flanges that generate a hard thumping action and powerful vibration. The Googan Baits Krackin’ Craw also features small side legs that produce a very subtle and natural movement, even when the bait is not moving to entice wary bass into biting.

Put it on the back of your favorite jig, Texas-rig it, or Carolina-rig it, the possibilities with the Googan Baits Krackin’ Craw are endless. Stuffed with salt and Slaunch Sauce for an added level of attraction, the Googan Baits Krackin’ Craw is the only craw you need in your tackle box.

Great action for a crawClearly, most of these reviewers have never fished higher end quality soft plastics. 2-3 fish and the bait comes off? Yeah, you should try Yamamoto's, one fish and it's a goner. You only get one or the other, Action Vs Durability. If you want something with both, go with Zmans Elaztech, but know it comes with a sacrifice, buoyancy, takes longer to sink. When these Krackin Craws are on sale, grab as much as you can. My go to weighted T-Rig. Flip and cast them all day. Blue Baby+Natural

Comments: Bought these to test out and they were not packaged well at all. The claws have these ridges on them that help increase the action of the bait and they were all bent and folded over from the packaging. Won't be buying these again. Big fan of the rage craws, but the new Yamacraws knock both of these out of the park in my opinion!

From: Chandler: USA 7/7/23

Comments: Great action and catches fish. I would never admit to anyone (that I know) that I actually use these baits, however. Us OGs in the bass fishing game can recognize clowns a mile away.

From: O'Billy Dudewright: 4/27/23

Comments: I only use a few very specific craws, and have for over a decade. My wife was at Academy and I asked her to pick up some Rage Craws for me and some other stuff that TW is out of stock on. Well she brings me some Krackin Kraws and 2 of their jigs because she thought the GOOGAN name and packaging was pretty.....she doesn't fish btw. Being a jig fanatic as well, I am very particular and only use 2 brands period. These wer basic, generic tag along colors on jigs and Kraws, but I took them to a nearby pond and went to work. 20 minutes in I made a cast to a submerged car I often target.....jig got snagged on it, and I worked it out and when I got it back not only were the claws gone but the weedguard on jig was gone. Put the other jig on and another Krackin and caugh t several 2 pounders then the other jig ha the hook bend out 1/4 of the way and in 4 hours I'd used all but one of the craws....some on fish others just came apart after casting and getting into brush and tules. That's my experience. The Kraws have a great smell; and a nice action, I noticed, when I worked them up close shallow before I started fishing. That's the only good thing I can say about them. Spend your money and buy Rage Tails, Gambler and D&M Flippin Craws or Xcite Baits Raptor Tail Jr's and Big Bite Baits chunks.....or keep giving your money away.

From: John: Waxahachie, TX 12/13/21

Comments: This bait has a really good action. I used them as a jig trailer but can catch maybe 5 fish before this trailer is junk. Compared to a Strike King rage craw that you could get around 15 fish per trailer. Buy rage craws with your hard earned money, it's a better plastic and has a lot more colors.

From: Dylan: MN 3/23/21

Comments: really good Texas rigged has a lot of action not very durable but catch fish lost a 6 1/2 pounder on it really good for finicky and warm water fish

From:  Unknown 12/18/20

Comments: So I tried a bunch of different soft baits this year and the Googan Krackin' Craws are one of my favorites. The action of these are unbeatable, but they are not very durable. I've caught a couple of small mouth without having any sort of ripping or damage to the bait, but I wouldn't expect them to last long. I rigged these weedless with a gama 4/0 hook, also added a bullet weight a few times but I'm not a fan of texas rigging in general. So all in all I would suggest buying these If you want a great action and want a bait that smells... people keep reviewing these baits without Talking about the SLANCH SAUCE. The slanch will definitely help mask your human stank with the their signature sauce.

From: Luis: Michigan 10/29/20

Comments:Great lure to fish texas rigged or on a trailer the only problems ive ever had from them is how easy they tear apart would recommendto almost anyone they just need to work on their durability

From: Tate - Chattanooga, TN 8/25/20

Comments: One of the best Okeechobee craw colors out there BUT they rip way to easily I just tried them for the first time the other day to see what the "hype"was. great colors Plastic is way to soft and for almost 6 bucks a bag yeah I'm All set I'll finish the bags i got and never use again. The yum Dinger is more durable and cheaper then the "lunker log" more Like Money log in the pockets of the "googan's"

From: Josh: 5/23/20

Comments:It has good action and good colors, but like other people have said it has really bad durability.SUPER soft, I tried to pull the claws apart and one of the claws ended up tearing off.Looks good, but they dont last 2 fish.

From: Sam - 5/18/20

Comments: ive fished googan baits for almost a year, and i absolutly love them, they have a great scent and great action, and you can throw them where you want and they catch massive bass. the only complaint i have with them is that they can only take 2 or 3 fish before you have to put another one on.

From: Cam: British Columbia Canada 5/5/20

Comments: I have used these a good bit as trailers and just on a t-rig and I don't believe they are worth the money due they have some of the worst durability I have ever seen. On the bright side they do have a good sent and action and will catch fish. I still prefer my strike kings due to they are more durable and perform better overall. Even though all soft plastics tear up pretty easy with the exception of zman and a few others I won't be buying these anymore because they obviously take short cuts and make them easy to tear so that people have to buy more of their baits.

From: Jacob: Texas 4/28/20

Comments: I personally have fished with googan products one time. This was only because we ran out of the color plastics that was flat out better than any color that day. I would like to say the baits have good action. The quality of the plastic is not good at all. Googan uses garbage plastic to make the molds so you run through the baits faster and have to buy more. I will stick to products that are actually worth the investment. Definitely won't be wasting my money on these.

From: Unknown: 11/3/19

Comments:I use the krakin craw all the time for flipping. The only problem is that the baits are so damn soft, it's become in inside joke with the people i fish with, You can literally flipp in a tree and feel a little bite and when you pull that bait out of the water every freaking appendage is gone, The fish just rip them off. Last tournament i fished i went through 32 googan craws and caught 4 fish, it is a guarantee that if you catch a fish on the bait it is ripped. BUT they still CATCH fish they really do its incredible. I don't remember what i used for flipping before but these things work. I am surprised no one has made a video on how easy these baits rip but I know that if you're reading this and you use googan baits your laughing because its so true

From: Will J: Grapevine, TX 10/15/19

Comments:I've been using these craws for awhile now and they continue to produce for me. They are killer on a Texas-Rig and on the back of jigs I just cut off the segments and use as a chunk trailer. That works too. The colors are fantastic (my favorite color is Natural). Personally, I can get through about 3 fish on 1 craw so the durability really isn't as bad as everyone says. Remember, you have to sacrifice durability for action, or action for durability...

From: Jackson:Buena Park, CA10/1/19

Comments:Claws tore off after 3 casts of swimming it thru cover. What a joke.

From: Wade: North Carolina 9/2/19

Comments:Overrated bait. One fish and the craw is destroyed. Scent is well.Basically a copy of the rage craws. Stick to the original strike Kings...

From:Alec: 7/20/19

Comments:Don't waste your money on these or other googan baits their all super low quality , these doesn't do anything different than the other competitors craws , expect the quality of these are terrible, if each bait lasts u more than one fish that's super Rare.

From:Jr.: 6/18/19

Comments:I bought one back to try them out and the bass loved them. I caught multiple 4's that day. The only problem is how soft they are. But the softer the bait the more the bass like it. Sometimes they would snap on 1 fish.

From: Hunter B.6/8/19

Comments:I've really taken a liking to these. Great colors and action. My only complaint is the durability. After a couple of fish they are pretty much toast. I personally don't mind because they've caught me plenty of fish.

From: Chris:Phoenix, AZ 5/7/19

Comments:These things just do not hold up well at all. After 1 fish they are basically trashed. If you have a sunfish nibbling at it that will also be the end of it and the claws will get ripped right off. It is basically a copy of the strike king rage craw. I'm glad I gave it a shot but I will stick to the original and not the copy bait.

From: Joe- Philadelphia, PA 2/21/19

Comments:baits are ok, scent Is good action is excellent . but durability is lacking when rigging if not rigged good the first shot the bait is kinda done. even after one to two fish baits is spent as well

From: 2fish Shakur: Mass11/10/18

Comments:I picked up a pack just to see if it was all its Krack'ed up to be, ha pun intended. Overall the bait is nice, it has equal action to the SK Rage Craw which isn't surprising seeing they use the same patent. My big complaint is how oily my package was, it was dripping oil out of the clam shell and made it harder to get on a hook and it was hard to get it off my hands. So I will stick with the SK, its a smidge cheaper, a smidge more durable and more available plus they offer more colors.

From: Daniel:Texas11/8/18

Comments:I love fishing craws and have fished all the competiton, the Krackin Craw just gets it done! I have rolled it topwater near weeds and caught them, and I have even ned rigged it and STILL slayed the bass! My new favorite bait, hands down. The Blue Baby and the Summer Craw are my personal favorites, but they all work!

From: Unknown - 10/28/18

Comments:Purchased a pack of these craws in June Bug color. They have nice movement and they absolutely catch fish, but there is one downside. They are not durable at all, and usually become unusable after 1 or 2 fish, 3 if you're lucky.

From: Kobe:VA10/18/18

Comments:okay not durable really soft preforms good but i still stick with strike king rage craw

From: Unknown 10/18/18

Comments:This one of the best baits in the world. Although it isn't very durable, it straight catches fish. Summer craw is my favorite color for when the water is transitioning from summer to fall

From: Ashton - Nebraska 9/14/18

Comments:I absolutely love this bait. They are very soft and swim great. My favorite color is summer craw. Peg a l/4 oz weight and flip into wood. Great Bait!
