Looking from the outside all stick baits appear to be the same. The true difference amongst them usually lies in what’s on the inside. Enter the Lunker Log from Googan Baits. The folks at Googan Baits used valuable input from tournament pro’s, Jacob Wheeler, Dustin Connell and Scott Martin, making sure the action on the fall of the Googan Baits Lunker Log was a perfect, eye-popping shimmy at just the right speed. Then they added Slaunch Sauce and packed in more salt than the Googan Squad’s YouTube comment section. The end result is the Lunker Log from Googan Baits, a fish-snatching soft bait that is sure to raise some pulses.
Wacky rigged, Texas, Neko, weightless…the options for fishing techniques you can apply with the Googan Baits Lunker Log are endless. Jacob Wheeler utilized the Lunker Log wacky rigged to help produce a first place MLF finish at Table Rock Lake in 2019. If catching fish is your objective, or your passion, add the Googan Baits Lunker Log to your tackle box today.

Do you miss the Slim Senko? If you were part of the group that was sad when the 4" Slim Senko got hard to find, try this in 4". See how you feel about it. I've said all I will say on this.

Great alternative to senkoI like the shimmy on the fall. Medium fall rate. I catch a lot of green pumpkin blue flake.

Comments: Heavier than a Senko. I take them out of the og packaging and put them into a zip lock bag. I don't need my friends to see I am using this brand, it's kind of embarassing.

Comments: 6" Cinnamon Lunker Log is the best stick bait created. It's heavy, cast well, sinks slowly and has that nice wiggle. Durable? No, just like the original Senko but it catches fish. If the fish aren't biting this then you might as well go home. They aren't hungry that day.

Comments: These are legit. They have plenty of salt. Great action and they are definitely tougher than Yamamoto. I throw these weightless on a 4/0 EWG and they do work. Highly recommended.

Comments: I gotta hand it to these googans again with this one. I personally think this stick bait out performs a senko in shallow water with a 4/0 hook.
From: George: 5/24/21
Comments: This bait is great. The fish in my area (maryland) absolutely go crazy over the attractant and action on this bait. My favorite color is green pumpkin blue flake. I will say the plastic is a little flimsy. I always keep a pack or two of lunker logs.

Comments: Everyone complains about the durability, but I caught 3-4 on most of the lunker logs. Fish them weight less t-rigged or wacky rig and they catch fish. Cinnamon is my go to followed by June bug.

Comments: First time using these, I hooked up after the third cast. The fish in my lake go crazy for the attractant in these plastics. The plastic is very soft, usually ruined or completely missing after reeling in a fish. That's something to consider if your on a budget, but worth it in my opinion. I carry 2 packs with me, June bug and green pumpkin blue flake. Fish it on a 4/0 wide gap.

Comments: I've been catching them pretty darn regularly on the five inch white wacky rigged. the green pumpkin blue works well also and its actually a bit more green in person. I like flipping the 6 inch version around cover weightless.

Comments: Definitely one of my go-to baits. Lunker log on a shaky head is a recipe for good fish, period. Drag it on points, pitch it around docks, swim it through grass. It just plain works. And as Wheeler has shown, it works great other ways too.

Comments: To me, all the baits are decent. The log works but all of there baits are too soft of plastic, a one pounder will rip them to pieces

Comments: Decent stick bait, soft plastic, lots of salt and greasy as hell. Seems to sink faster than a Dinger and slower than a Senko. Holds up about the same as a Dinger and a littler better than a Senko. So at this price point these make no sense to me. I can get a pack of Dingers for half the price and a pack of 10 Senkos for roughly the same price. So as I see it these really do not fit in anywhere for me.

Comments: I have never left a review but the green/blue color Has killed it for me in Vermont and New Hampshire. Hate the Ned but love the lunker Log.
From: Chris: Vermont 7/20/19
Comments: Softer than the Yamamoto Senko, and it's got that anise and shrimp slaunch sauce! Looks awesome wacky rigged as it wiggles its way down. May have taken over the stick bait game with this one! Nice job Googan Squad. P.S. The Rattlin Ned is also a game changer.
