Comments: Bought the 7' MH "worm" rod and its definitely more of a heavy action then a MH. The rod is wonderful either way, has a ton of sensitivity. I have it paired up with a lews custom SLP and its perfectly palmable.

From: Jerrod: California 7/19/23

Comments: I have only ever had 2 rod tips break on me, and both of them were TP-1 Blacks--one was a 7' MH, and the other was a 7'2 MH. The rods seemed to be good quality--light, comfy, sensitive--but both tips just broke. One was only a couple months after I bought it. I warrantied it out. The other broke just after a year, which is apparently out of the warranty period. I'm not going to be purchasing another of these.

From: Patrick: St. Louis, MO 7/13/22

Comments: Have a few of these now and they are great! Super sensitive, light ,balanced and have not had any break yet ! I generally use their pro ti rods for jigs but tried the tp1 black and was just as happy how sensitive it was! The other I use weekly is for weightless senkos and I've horses fish out of milfoil, weeds etc and have not had any issues. Highly recommend these rods !

From: Chris: Ohio 6/10/22

Comments: I love this rod, it is light, strong, and affordable. I fish tournaments, so I need something reliable and lightweight, this checked the all the boxes, I love the way the hook set feels, and the backbone is solid. The first tournament I fished with this rod, I caught a 20lb striper, it handled it like a dream. Overall this is a great rod, I would definitely recommend!

From: Unknown: 4/18/22

Comments: all time favorite rod. I love everything about them. I own 4 of them and i never want to put them down. the price is perfect. the rod is light. the handles are super comfortable. the hook keeper is perfect and the rod just looks amazing. super sensitive. it does have super small guides so that's the only thing i would change to regular guide but not an inconvenience at all.

From: Leo: Illinois 4/9/22

Comments: Have the 6'10" mh/mf for one hand casting around docks/laydowns with chatterbaits. This rod is spot-on. Light weight and great flex in tip for accuracy with a flip of the wrist. Sensitivity is not that important in a chatterbait rod, but it has it. Great grips, good backbone. Will be buying another for squarebills.and shallow cranks.

From: Jethro: Md 12/5/21

Comments: My favorite rod to pick up by far. Lightweight, sensitive, comfortable, etc. The transfer ring lets you feel every vibration and tick - the 7' MH/F is an awesome chatterbait rod. I can cast this all day and not feel exhausted. Curado DC and this paired is super balanced and a lot of fun. The rod is top-tier at a super affordable price.

From: Bailey: South Dakota 11/1/21

Comments: I purchased the 6'10" mod.fast for in close chatterbaits/crankaits. Quality components, sleek looks and the action is spot-on. The shorter rod helps with accuracy around docks and laydowns. Most mod.fast rod's seem less sensitive, this rod has great feel. Love the gripes.

From: Jethro: Maryland 10/26/21

Comments: I purchased the 7'0" medium moderate fast rod, and itsnapped on the third outing. Very disappointed.

From: Richard: Las Cruces, NM 7/7/21

Comments: Yeah, don't even think about it, just get it. It's an awesome rod. I've only fished it a few times but it's incredibly light and sensitive. I've fished this side by side with my SLX and this feels like it's $100 more than the SLX, not just $30. I really can't say enough good about it. I have the 6'8" medium/moderate.

From: Frank: Pennsylvania 2/15/21

Comments: High quality all the way through! The light weight balance and sensitivity is on point. Got the 7' MH and will say it's more a MH+ not lews normal MH. The grip is perfect I mean perfect if ya ask me, best grip and feel in a rod I've used by a long shot. Has the beefy tip we come to love from lews and pray they keep doing. It would be quicker if I tell ya the cons instead of the pros but I can't think of any so..

From: Noah: Illinois 12/28/20

Comments: Get the rod. Has every pro imagine-able, super light, comfortable, sensitive, and so far seems super durable. Boat flipped multiple 3 pounders no problem. Bought this and a dobyns fury rod and this rod completely out performs the dobyns. If your on edge just get it!

From: josh 11/24/20

Comments: I have the 7'3 MH and the 7'4 H. These seem to be pretty solid rods for the price point. The tip to me feels more like a Moderate-Fast rather than a Fast. If you've ever owned any Dobyns Fury rods their action seems pretty similar to those. The 7'4 heavy feels slightly unbalanced (tip heavy), but not enough to make it annoying. Really loving the 7'3 medium heavy with such a soft tip it makes a great spinnerbait/swim jig rod. My favorite part of the rod is the overall look. The black winn grips with matte black finish look awesome.

From: Matt: Florence, AL 9/7/20

Comments: I'm a rod snob rare I ever buy a rod under $200. however at our local tackle shop I held this rod and was floored at the balance. Bought it and took it fishing -/ so many Pros: the all black is just gorgeous, goes with any reel the balance is perfection, light weight  sensitive. And a price point that's more then fair. Highly recommended this rod. so many pros zero cons.

From: Dean: Las Vegas 7/4/20

Comments: I went on a 2 day fishing trip with a buddy he owns this rod. the rod really caught my eye and he let me use it. 7'2 MH. I totally fell in love with this stick so light and sensitive for a rod costing only $130. I caught bass on top water spinner bait dark sleepers. was floored at how sensitive and well made this rod is for its price point. the all black appearance was just sexy as all go. If I had the need for another rod I admit rod snob and all I'd totally get this one. lews got a home run with this one. highly recommended this stick. fishes way way way above its price point. Light strong accurate sexy... it's missing nothing!

From: Dean: Las Vegas, NV 5/26/20

Comments: I have 3 of these rods now. 7'3 MH Fast, 7'4 H Fast and 7' M Fast spinning rod. Each of these rods are incredibly light for their respective powers and actions. The 7'3 is perfect for my chatter baits, spinner baits, crank baits and rattle traps. Although it says it's a fast action, it acts much more like a moderate-moderate fast action. The 7'4 is an awesome Froggin/Flipping rod. My biggest thing is I wanted a rod to handle the heavy/thick cover applications, without the rod being overly heavy or tip heavy. This rod is neither of those. The 7' spinning rod is awesome. It's perfectly balanced and works fantastically when I'm throwing either Ned rigs or shaky heads, and also has worked very well when I'm drop shoting also. Each of these rods can be used for multiple applications. Each has MORE than enough backbone to handle any bass that bites, and the Winn grips and the VTR (vibration transfer ring) make this pretty easily the best rod in the $150 and below category.

From: Daniel: Pasco, WA 2/4/20

Comments: I got the 6'10 mh for my chatterbaits and spinnerbaits. The action of the rod is awesome it has a great soft tip section but still plenty of backbone. I might even use this rod for my crankbaits as well. The vibrating transfer ring is a really nice feature too I could feel my bait moving in the water and could feel when I was hitting cover and what type of cover it was. In my opinion a big step up from the tp1 for only $30 more

From: Trevor: 9/9/19

Comments: So I've been fishing Quantum since they came out, and always liked there products. Heck I still have some rods and reels that go back 15 years and still preform like new , but this time I thought I would try out a Lew's rod as everyone raves about them and this time I was on a budget with travel baseball this year. I have to say that this rod for the price is amazing to cast and fish. I got the 7'2" MH for swim jigs and for throwing rugby head creature baits. I paired it with a Quantum Tour S3 reel and 14LB Sunline Structure Flouro. Going to be getting the 7'4" Heavy soon and pair that with a Quantum Mg reel. Thanks TW for all the great products ya'll carry.

From: Josh: Bartlett, IL 7/16/19

Comments: Just got this rod in 7' med hvy fast and fished it today. I own only one other lews rod..the 6'11" med/moderate custom lite. I was so impressed with that one, i figured i try this out. Awesomeness again. Paired with a tournament mb ,these rods cast like a dream. And the sensitivity is on par with my dobyns Sierras. Really impressive Lews. Just ordered another black today for chatterbait fishing. Price is great for what your getting.  Buy it..you wont be disappointed.
