Overview

Changing the face of frog fishing, the Livingston Freddy B Tournament is the first ever hollow body frog that emits the actual biological sounds of a real frog. The Freddy B is equipped with Livingston’s patented EBS sound technology, which calls fish in from a distance with a subtle croaking sound. Especially effective in heavily matted slop, the Livingston Freddy B Tournament is built with a wide, streamlined body that enhances castability and maneuverability through pads and vegetation.

The Freddy B is equipped with a custom heavy wire 5/0 double hook for rock solid hook sets and ample power to pull fish from the thickest cover. A pair of silicone legs deliver the final touch for extra flair and an added level of attraction. Available in a range of classic fish catching colors, the Livingston Freddy B Tournament is taking hollow body frogs to the next level.

Comments: Was so happy when this frog came out, sadly im very disappointed, froggin is my strongest point as a bass angler and i must say this frog sucks....it has a large hard piece in the head for the electronics and it makes hook up ratio absolutely terrible, and when you do hook fish its in the softest parts of the lips, the sound is very minimal like you cant really even hear it....also if your a Midwest angler this frog is so thin and soft that if a pike or toothy critter breaths on it you might as well throw it away....everybody has different opinions and fishing styles but this frog is just garbage to me...dont waste the $10

Comments: Again like other reviews, was excited about the frog making a realistic frog noise. Its about time! Ordered half dozen, and just a few were in stock at the time. After getting the first batch i was extremely disappointed in the minimal amount of sound it put out, i cancelled the rest of the order. Great idea, but they need to seriously step up the volume 10x's!

Comments: I got a chance to check these frogs out at a show. I've got 2 for the spring and summer here in Va. I really think people thought these frogs were going to make this really load squeal or croaking sound. They do not but they will admit a sound which will also create a vibration. These frogs are going to be a big deal and I can't wait. Thank you Randy Howell for letting me know they were on the market. Get one and you won't be upset.....better than the Teckle Frog for sure

Comments: I got 4 of these frogs in early January after pre-ordering them several months ago.  I was excited about them because its about time someone made a frog that makes some realistic sound without having to add rattles. I was really hoping that they'd emit that high pitched peeping sound that frogs make when they mate in the spring, or a low croaking bullfrog sound.  Any type of frog sound would be good.  As soon as I got them, I opened one up and put it in a bowl of water, which is all you have to do to activate the sound.  Nothing!  I shook it.  I tried touching the activation points like on other Livingston lures, still nothing.   I opened another and tried it.  Nothing!  Then I held it up close to my ear and could barely hear the faintest clicking sound, similar to the original EBS sound.  Certainly not what I expected or was hoping for.  Very disappointing.  I already have a dozen other frogs in my box that catch fish without sound, or that will make more sound when I add a rattle, so this just another $10 frog that I don't need.  Other Livingston lure I have produce 4X as much sound. I don't want to be totally negative without having fished with the frog yet. So I'm sure it will catch fish.  If you dont care that the EBS is worthless, at least  the hooks are beefy and sharp!  The plastic is super soft and appears as though it will collapse well.  It weighs almost a full ounce with the internal EBS mechanism inside.  Whether thats a pro or con for some, I suppose it could increase casting distance and also allow the frog to set lower in the water. Personally, I think it'll cause it to make a big loud splash when it hits the water.  I also didn't like the way that there are no drain holes in the rear of the frog.  Its pretty well sealed up and doesn't take on much water, which is good.  But when you do need to squeeze water out of this frog, all the water comes out the nose of the frog at the line tie eyelet..  I'm anxious to see what Livingston sponsored pro endorses this frog and how well he does with it this season.
