Comments: I purchased a pack of 10 last week & when they arrived today 1 of the rattles were broken. After reading everyone else's reviews I believe I got lucky that only 1 rattle broke.

Comments: Great rattles. I insert them into the top of the tails of some of my big soft swimbaits (i.e. Mag Drafts). Loud, quite a bit louder than any other rattles I've used. Be cautious though, they are glass and just had another pack arrive today with a broken rattle in it. If you aren't paying attention, you could cut yourself...

Comments: These rattle works quite well, though expensive. They are 5mm in diameter- I measured because this information was not in the description or on the package. I like to stick these in the end of a big 6" worm like an ocho, and wacky rig them on a 1/16oz wacky jig with an o-ring. Killer combo. I would use it all the time if it wasn't so pricey. One more thing, something about the rattle makes me loose more worms more often for whatever reason- I think its the way they eat it is different.

Comments: Out west we do a lot of night fishing. I like to Texas rig a 10" power worm with a black brass weight, 3/16 oz. Add a black brass clacker, then add a glass bead, then insert one of these rattles into the body of the worm & slowly shake the worm down submerged points. Great technique to bag some monster bass in 15/30' of water.

Comments: Best rattle for a varity of applications. I've had great luck inserting these rattles into the tail end of a Missile Baits Shockwave, and then throw that on a Revenge Swim Jig, and you have your self a rattling Swim Jig. Great for stained water, if your in the market for rattles these McCoy rattles are your best bet.
