Overview
Built to dominate monster bass, vicious peacock bass, and Murray cod, the Megabass I Wing 135 brings explosive buzz-crawling action to the world of extreme topwater lures. The result of merciless hydrodynamic testing, the Megabass I Wing 135 features a jointed design, R.A.B. (patent pending) pendulum balancer, customizable duralumin wings, and Megabass’ unmistakable finish for a winged meal like no other.
With a dead slow retrieve, the Megabass I Wing 135 generates micro pitch waves, evoking a small school of fish that swarm to weakened bait. When you kick your retrieve into high gear, the Megabass I Wing 135 takes off with a buzzing-crawl that outpaces the competition and calls up fearsome topwater eruptions. This wide retrieve range is powered not only by wing size, placement, and painstaking hydrodynamic design, but by advances, like the patent-pending R.A.B. balancer, which anchors the Megabass I Wing 135’s crawling action by acting as a counter weight.
As the Megabass I Wing 135 performs its sinuous, buzzing crawl, the R.A.B. weight swings on a pivot from side to side like a pendulum, accentuation I-Wing’s movement while keeping the tail-section grounded. Additionally, when the heavy weight hits the inside of the Megabass I Wing 135, a strong sound and shockwave is emitted, adding another layer of acoustic attraction. The uniquely layered waves emitted by the Megabass I Wing 135’s body movement, wings, jointed tail, and R.A.B. pendulum balancer combine to send the feeding instinct of monsters into overdrive.

Comments: This lure gets hit hard and you can hear it clacking from far out. Same issue I've had as some other reviews is that they are not very durable. I caught 1 decent largemouth and a handful of casts later I lost one of the wings, actually saw it just drop off the lure as I was about to pull it out of the water. Finding the replacement kits is next to impossible so now I'm left with a one wing iwincg until the kits become available. I-jack and I-Louds have similar sound and hold up better but they don't have the crawler action.

Comments: I agree with kyle from Cali, this bait gets annihilated but its pretty fragile. Tacklewarehouse please stock the wing kits! Megabass puts out the sleekest looking baits.

Comments: This bait gets violently bit... But the MAIN problem is it won't hold up...If you've got unlimited wing kits, glue/ to keep the screws from stripping every trip, like tweaking your bait every cast, etc. Then this IS the bait for you... 3/5.

Comments: Woah! The price! Listen- there are other baits that can do the same thing as this bait. This is definitely in a category of its own. Its jdm, its high quality, it's high tech, and the price reflects such. My first bass on this bait came on my first ever actual cast (not including just tester casts to adjust brakes and see what the bait actually looked liked) ended with a 2.5 keeper on guntersville. However, my partner had a fish miss his teckel twice and I followed up with this. It was exciting, but I chalked it up to a fluke... until the following day. I fished similar areas, and the 2nd cast with the I wing, a solid 3.75 largemouth quickly erased my neutral mindset on this bait. This bait is legit. Sure others can replicate the overall presentation, but give this a whirl. I guarantee you will be one of few throwing it and odds are, your local bass have not seen it yet.

Comments:This bait has really nice paint just like all megabass lures but the crawling action is off and crawls to one side more than the other... I might have gotten a faulty one but man.. I feel like every time I break out of my "110 and dark sleeper" comfort zone with megabass I get burned...

Comments:The I Wing crawler is a beast! I love it! It has great action when retrieved slow or fast. I've caught some nice lm on it. Even 2# fish crush this bait. I throw it on a heavy power fast action rod with 40# braid. Def worth the investment.
