Overview
The latest design from Yuki Minemura, the creator of the OSP Saikoro “Dice” soft bait, the OSP Erimaki Shad is a small minnow-shaped fish worm that pushes water to appeal to bass who are conscious of the surface. Built to target large selective fish that don’t pay attention to lures and prefer real baitfish, the Erimaki Shad combines a minnow silhouette, ultra-realistic ‘escape’ action, and a distinctive scarf that reduces the distance traveled when twitching.
Poured with high-floating plastic that remains on the surface when rigged without a sinker, this diminutive minnow operates much like a popper but is also highly effective for mid-strolling tactics when rigged on a lightly weighted jighead. Finished with natural 3D eyes and a flashy tinsel strand tail, the OSP Erimaki Shad delivers surprising drawing power and destructive topwater bites in a micro-finesse profile that excels during tough conditions and high fishing pressure.
