Leveraging Optimum’s design team and the expertise of Butch, the Optimum Butch Brown Gen II Thumper Tail Swimbait is upgraded with a 90lb test multi-strand mason wire head crimping system to match Butch’s swimbait rig identically. A personal favorite of Butch and a must-have for soft-rigged swimbaits, the Gen II Thumper Tail swimbait now comes armed with a razor-sharp 3/0 Black Nickel short-shank treble hook to ensure your confidence with trophy bass.
Butch’s updated soft plastic formula now features a 25% softer blend compared to the original to provide more life-like action and boost swim performance at various retrieve speeds. An internal harness is now welded shut to ensure that knots do not slip through the line tie, and the weight in the swimbait has been shifted towards the belly of the swimbait to encourage a slower horizontal fall and level swim action on the retrieve.
