Overview
Owner 4X Jungle Flipping Hook is designed to withstand heavy braided line, big fish, and the toughest of conditions. Featuring Owner’s advanced Zo-Wire construction, Zo-Wire is significantly stronger than other traditional high carbon steel wires. This means smaller diameters with increased strength. The Jungle Flipping Hooks smaller diameter combined with Owner’s Silky Gray frictionless finish delivers the fastest hook penetration possible, and also helps with bait clearance on hook sets.
The Owner Super Needle Point hook points also won’t roll over or dull either for longer lasting performance, and the bait keeper is meticulously wrapped onto the shank to prevent the keeper itself from sliding or spinning. The eye is 100% closed as well to avoid knots slipping out. A dream come true for anglers who love to fish short lines, the Owner 4X Jungle Flipping Hook has arrived.

Comments: I have put this hook through its paces over the last couple of years. I mainly use it for punching and have landed many fish in the 5 to 8.5# range that came from mats I could hardly get a 1.5oz weight trough. They stay straight and sharp. The hook keeper works well too. It doesn't tare up baits as much as metal keepers. Those of you that are straightening these out need to rethink your methods.

Comments: These have become my favorite flipping hook. I am not sure how you would straighten these out.. I am flipping heavy mats, 65lb braid, and using a 7'11XHeavy Expride with no bend at all. The hook keeper has also been great! I do not like using the bulky plastic hook keepers after using these hooks for awhile. Expensive but worth it.

Comments: I've been using these hook on fluorocarbon for the past year with great results. Recently I tried them on the 50lb braided line and have already straighten two hooks on hooksets. I would not recommend these for braided line flipping.

Comments: Way too much flex!

Comments: Not sure why there are mixed reviews on these. I actually like the bait keeper and the hooks stay plenty sharp. I enjoy trying new tackle and these will stay in the box for sure. Very glad I tried them!

Comments: Best flipping hook I have ever used hands down! Trust me I've tried all kinds of flipping hooks out here on the CA delta like Gamakatsu, Mustad, Trokar, VMC, River2Sea exc. and they just don't hold up with the cover out here. I used to have constant bend outs and rolled hook points until I switched to Owner Jungle. These hooks stay razor sharp trip after trip and are ready to catch giant after giant with no issues. The weed guard is great and doesn't rip right through plastics like the others. Don't believe me? Try them! You won't ever look back!

Comments: Not good the bait slides down the keeper on the hookset causing a terrible hookup and lost fish.

Comments: Picked up 3/0 and 4/0 and can say that they work great. Hooking up is no problem fish after fish. I have not had one bend yet. Using versa 65 pound braid revo stx veritas 7'9" heavy gets the job

Comments: What a piece of crap hook. I bought some of these to flip at Falcon a few weeks back, and I am extremely dissapointed. First two fish I set the hook on, the line broke so fast the rod never even loaded up. After the second bite, and second lost fish/hook and five dollar 3/4 ounce tungsten I started inspecting the hook eye. No weld, no powdercoating to seal the gap NADA. The braid was getting cut on the hook eye gap, as I was snelling them (as I always do). Owner need to go back to the drawing board on these. The write up on these hooks say "eye is 100% welded shut". Well, it isn't. Very glad I wasn't fishing a tournament. Back to Trokars and Mustads for me.

Comments: I have seen these work tried them myself kept having the fish pop off as soon as they were in the boat on slack line. kind of scary for a $2 hook. Don't get me wrong these are legit but keep the file handy.

Comments: Ordered these hooks along with strike king hack flipping hook. I must say the SK hooks looked mean so I naturally started with those, mistake! After not hooking up with five different fish, off with the SK and to the owner jungle hooks I went! I had a much better hook up ratio the owner flipping hooks! No the bait keeper isn't best but it is manageable! Get these hooks, catch more fish!!!

Comments: These are the real deal. They are ultra sharp and stay that way. They do not bend. The bait keeper works. Although the eye isn't welded, it does have a notch for a traditional snell. Just don't tie a uni snell and you'll be fine. The wire gauge is thinner than all other flipping hooks and the angle of the point combined with the smooth finish equates to quick penetration and positive hook sets every time. I messed around with trokars and missed fish left and right, but not anymore! If the jungle hook gets bit, that fish is coming outta the jungle. Owner never ceases to amaze me.

Comments: I bought these excited that owner had finally come out with a straight shank flipping hook. Must say after getting them in the mail, I am a little dissapointed. The listing says that the eye is 100% welded shut, well that isn't the case. Regular old hook eye, that cannot be snelled certainly not w braid.

Comments: I like it. Sharp. The keeper itself, I'm a fan. Doesn't tare baits, like the bulky keepers. Idea when you using smaller plastics for Punching. Its a toss up between these and the Denny hook, and I'm leaning towards these.

Comments: I have been waiting on Owner to make a flipping hook for a long time. I thought that they would look at all the hooks available and make this one the best by far. I regret to say that I haven't fished the new hooks much but have already had a rolled point and a flexed hook. No major abuse other than flipping grass and hooking two fish. I hope some corrections are made, but I've lost confidence in them. Still love Owner hooks, but was wishing the flipping hook was better.

Comments: Good stout hook. However the bait keeper is lacking. It's thick mono but it will bend and your plastic can wiggle off.
