Comments: These hooks are the Wacky Rig bomb. I'm trying to wrap my head around how folks here are saying they straighten these out with ease, I've never come anywhere close to bending one out. Have landed countless Bass in the 3-6lbs range on them as well as a huge Softshell Turtle and some monster 20lbs +/- Flathead Cats using the 1/0 size... not a single hook has ever been bent out in any form or fashion. They are finesse hooks... use your drag folks ;-)

Comments: Have caught countless fish with these and am amazed at how well they come through weeds and even flip right over branches. The problem is that after a fish or two, the thin guard-wires break off - first one, then the other when I try to bend it back into the correct position. I have a lot of perfectly sharp wacky hooks with no guard that now catch all the weeds.

Comments: Don't know what these other people are talking about because I am yet to straighten one out on a snag or fish with a super heavy spinning rod and 10lb line. Weed guard falls off after a few fish but nothing a dab of superglue at the base can't fix.

Comments: As most other reviewers have said, this hook will straighten out WAY too easily. I lost 3 fish in two days before throwing them away. DO NOT waste your money and missed fish on these hooks. Hopefully Owner will read these and fix it! Until then, stick with the Owner Weedless Wacky hooks, they work great (though the weedguard could be strengthened).

Comments: Love owner products, but they missed the mark on this one. These things bend out way way way too easily. I landed a 4lb'er on one and I have no idea how. The hook will literally pulled out completely straight. you will straighten them out getting hung on free floating weeds. I am writing this review while shopping for an alternative.

Comments: weed guard breaks off after a few fish similar to the Gamakatsu versions. Used with 6in senkos skipping into docks and reeds with very few hang ups. Great hooks, just wish a 4 pack would last longer than 2 trips.

Comments: I don't understand why the manufacturer would put a better weedguard on a weaker hook. I picked up a pack of these to try because I am tired of snagging and losing the normal Owner weedless wacky hooks. I like to skip wacky rigs under docks/laydowns on 15lb straight braid. The titanium weedguard on this hooks performs much better than the fiber one on the other hooks, but if you do get the slightest hang up you'll be retying a new hook. The "stronger" zo wire is VERY thin. I snagged a reed after mangling the weedguard on a nice fish. I didn't jerk the rod or try to rip it free, just a couple pops of the rod tip before pedaling my kayak over and freeing the hook by hand. The tip had rolled, and the hook was completely bent out. I have snagged logs with the other hooks, as well as with the gamakatsu finesse wide gap and YANKED on them out of frustration, then gone on to catch fish with the same hooks. These are pitiful in terms of strength. I guess it comes down to making my own weedguard.

Comments: I am presently having to fish my reservoir with extra extra cover because the little water we have gotten over the last 2 years has topped the brush so there is 30 feet or more of brush before you even get to the bank. I fish a wacky rigged senko 9 months out of the year and this was the answer to my new jungle. Very durable. I cut 1/4 inch off each side as the wires seemed a bit excessive. I would rather have extra to trim than want more wire in any case. I am already catching fish in my jungle nice and shallow and it's January of 2020. I fish 10 pound braid to 10 pound Seagaur red label. No issues

Comments: I'm a huge Owner fan and feel like they make great products but was very disappointed with the performance of this particular hook. The description says that it has "outstanding strength and delivers superior muscle." I have used the 3/0 which is the heaviest they make and discovered that it straightened out way too easily. I also found that the titanium weed guard was very flimsy in heavy cover and it continually got hung up, especially in reeds or pad stems. It may be a good hook in a deep clear water lake but not in a heavy vegetated lake. This is anything but Jungle ready IMHO.
