The Picasso Aaron Martens Tungsten Football Jig is constructed around a compact 97% one piece tungsten head that is virtually indestructible. This compact design is escpecially appealing to spotted and smallmouth bass. The flexible triple nickel titanium weedguard let’s you work through cover with less hang ups and without hindering the hook set. Available in a variety of hook sizes to perfectly pair your plastic trailers from smaller finesse sizes to larger plastics. Picasso’s exclusive ultra soft thin sheet silicone skirting material creates fish enticing undulation that is comparable to that of rubber skirt material. The super sharp black nickel Gamakatsu 2X strong hook will penetrate instantly even with light line but is strong enough to handle the giants.
Comments: This jig is awesome. It has produced well for me, but two improvements need to be made. It needs a better hook. I've broken the hook twice fighting big bass using 15lb fluoro with a Dobyns extreme 744c. The tip will roll pretty easily too. You'll need a hook sharpener if you're on 'em and fishing in rocks. There are much higher quality hooks available so it's a slap in the face from Picasso to charge a premium price. The paint does chip on most of them. Sometimes I get one that is more durable for some reason. I invested a lot of money in these jigs last year, but I am looking elsewhere this year until they make some improvements.

Comments: No better jig out there Picasso knocked this one out of the park. Quality components I love the titanium weed guard on it and the tungsten head you can feel everything on the bottom. I recommended this to all the diehard fisherman out there.

Comments: This Tungsten Football Jig is my favorite jig I have ever used. Its smaller size gets more bites in my opinion but still will catch the Big ones as well. It's a great jig to drag on offshore ledges. I have caught hundreds of Bass on this Jig. I prefer the 1/2 oz. with a smaller craw trailer.

Comments: Well, I can say that this item has produce well for me. For the most part, the quality can be better. I had issues with the paint coming/pealing off very easily and the skirt holder coming apart after catching a few fish on it. It will be nice to see an improvement on this issues especially after the price going up for a few extra dollars.

Comments: Just started using this jig. Pro staffer turned me on to this jig. So far I'm very impressed with the quailty. Fantastic weed guard. The jig tends to to stand up which is what it should do. I pair this jig with a SK Menace trailer and its game on.

Comments: This has become my 'go to' jig because of its versatility. Incredibly sensitive and the smaller tungsten profile makes a 1/2 oz head look like a 3/8 oz, a 3/4 oz head looks like a 1/2 oz, etc. This is my jig of choice if I need to get more bites in ultra-clear or pressured water. You also have the ability to get this jig in different hook sizes. Usually a jig will come with a standard size hook per weight of the jig. Now we can get whatever weight size we need with different hook sizes which is great for utilizing different size jig trailers. This is a great feature for being able to create a smaller or larger profile presentation. Colors are killer too.

Comments: I have been using the Picasso jigs for some time now and when they came out with this particular jig I had to give it a try (who wouldn't want to try something developed by Aaron Martens!?!). I am very impressed with the "feel" that I have with this jig and with the 3 titanium weed guards I have no issue throwing it into any type of cover!! With the variety of hook sizes I can use it for more finesse applications as well as heavy flipping. I would highly recommend this jig!!

Comments: This jig flat out catches them. Comes through rocks extremely well and the weed guard was definitely made for rock cover. You do not want to throw the jig around wood cover to much as it tends to get hung up. Best hook up ratio out of all the jigs I have thrown.

Comments: My go to football jig. More 3/8 oz than 1/2 as it is a little easier to work through rock. Tungsten head gives you great sensitivity. Go with craw colors and some type of craw/creature trailer.

Comments: A good looking jig but bad quality. Caught a 2 and a halfer on my second cast and the wire weedgaurd completely disconnected from the head. Hoping that I just got a dud going to but a few more to see if they do the same thing.

Comments: I am not sure about these other reviews but I have 2 weeks of intense fishing with these jigs and here are my thoughts. 1. The weed guards just catch weeds more than your usual brush guard. 2. These skirts are not wire tied, I caught a 4lber then my next fish was a 3lb and it pulled the skirt down, not impressed. 3. The skirts come in great colors and feel good. Overall 3/5 I should not have to wire tie these or super glue the skirts on for the price.
