Comments: I have the 7'9 Mag MH. It pairs perfectly with a tranx 200 (50lb braid) and I use the set up for pike and downsize musky lures. I would say the lure ratings are accurate I love to throw large mepps spinners like giant killers and magnum musky killers with it. Very lightweight and not fatiguing. I would describe the action as fast but lots of back bone and length for power at all times. It definitely folds up well on any fish 3lbs+. I also use the rod for heavy swimjigs and swim baits. More of a jig action but it folds up well enough that I wouldn't hesitate to use treble hook lures on it.

Comments: These rods do not hold up broke this one on a hookset. Also have broke 3 infernos 2 just casting crankbaits one on the hookset Called about getting it replaced Keith the owner said it was my fault not the rod. He talked very rude to me said plenty of people wanted them if I didn't. Please don't support this company call yourself and you will see.

From: John S: 5/31/23

Comments: Can't say enough great things a out this series of Powell rods! They perform well above price just like the rest of their rods. I have the 805, 733, and 724 in the new endurance. I have hauled several 5 to 8# fish out of mats with the 805. It is light very well balanced. Doesn't wear you out punching all day. The 733 is just a nice do it all stick. Worms, spinnerbait, smaller swimbaits, chatter baits, top waters, it is just an amazing rod. It is super light and sensitive. The 724 is my favorite jig and Texas rig rod for up to 5/8 oz weights. I can't put it down. I boat flipped a 5.5 pounder a couple weeks ago with it. If you like shorter flipping rods for cypress tree lakes this is it. It is an awesome frog rod as well.

From: Cjr4497: Louisiana 2/6/23

Comments: The Powell endurance 7.3 medium heavy is a great do-everything rod I fish jigs senkos crank baits etc but these rods do break easy I've used the 7.3 mag medium heavy which is a excellent punching rod and broke that boat flipping a 4 lber and then broke a 7.3 med heavy after about 20 fish caught on it setting the hook on a 2lber.

From: David: California 11/1/21

Comments: Powell makes a very nice rod. I have the 765 Mag Med Heavy. Soft tip, good backbone. Good A-Rig or C-Rig rod. Rated up to 3 oz but groans throwing a 2 oz bait.

From: Squirrel: Thompsons Station, TN 2/17/21

Comments: The 7'3", MH is a beautiful rod, light and well-balanced, with just the right taper for casting jigs, spinnerbaits, and chatterbaits. A perfect rod for open-water situations and especially for smallmouth.

From: Paul: Reedsburg, Wisconsin 11/4/20

Comments:this is a decent rod only if you are throwing a swimbait, overall i would not buy this rod just because the sensitivity is horrible, it loads up well but has horrible sensitivity, so if you're looking for a texas rig or jig rod, get a shimano expride instead

From: Hayden: Nicholasville 8/3/20

Comments: 734C- Wanted a dedicated frogging rod- this one is turning out to be just a tad too light- should've went with the mag medium heavy I guess. That said- it's an amazing rod, for open water or sparse cover it's a great frog rod- just not for the really nasty stuff. It's light as a feather, has plenty of tip- more than you would expect- but then hits a really tough back bone once it's loaded up. You can't beat it for medium sized swim baits say 4-6 inches, 1/2 oz andlarger jigs, heavier T rigs, or even slow rolling a big spinner bait- really versatile, great price point, casts like a dream when paired with a Shimano SLX or Diawa Tatula. Powell is an underrated company- I have 5 Powell rods and I love them all- they perform like 200$+ rods.

From: John: Beaverton 7/30/20

Comments:ordered 13 of the endurance line when Powell was having a big sale last year. At the time I was looking at the Diawa Tatula Elite series, Dobyns Sierra, Ark and several others. I was very nervous because I had not held or fished with the new Endurance line before my purchase. I can say without a doubt that this was a great purchase. Every rod is very light weight and balanced. I would also say that these rods are very sensitive for their price point. I recently bought some high end rods just to see if there was anything that I was missing out on (Kistler H3 & Dobyns Xtasy) and although both rods are nice I still really like my Powells and will be selling the other rods to buy more Powell rods.

From: Batts: Keller, TX 5/20/20

Comments: I was looking for a dedicated Frog Rod so I grabbed the 735 Mag Medium heavy. All I have to say is WOW!!! Feather light in hand and power to snatch the fattest piggys out of the nastiest slop. One of my fondest memories is when I got a blowup through some thick vegetation and set the hook and started reeling. My Brother laughed at me because all he saw was a thick wad of grass being pulled across the surface of the water and onto the bank. Laughter turned into amazement when I removed the grass and pulled a 5 pounder out of it. Lol... Love this Rod!

From: James: Fresno 5/16/20

Comments:Paired the 734c to a Daiwa tatula sv tws, I cant put the rod down! There's a reason why all my fishing rods are made by Powell! Load up on the hook set always favors the angler, the Powell team did a tremendous job on their fishing rods!

From: Bob: Santa Cruz, CA 10/27/19

Comments:Picked up the 7'3" model a few months ago and I'm very impressed! Lightweight, well balanced, and I can feel every bump when I'm dragging the bottom. Very nice cork ( Better than a rod that I paided twice the price)and designed very well. I have basically used it for everything, and performs like a champ! The price point is outstanding for the quality you get. Now since I own one, I notice a lot of other anglers using them! If you don't have one, you need to get one! Add it to your collection!

From: O Heim:Folsom6/25/19

Comments:775 CEF is the perfect rod matched with 6 inch senko or brush hog with carolina sinker up to 3/4 oz for flipping or casting. Better yet the best 7 inch senko rod.

From:Unknown: 4/8/19

Comments:Purchased the Endurance 765 during the July 4th sale as a single carry do all rod based on the lure weights (3/8-3oz) when I go pond hopping or want to cover a variety of scenarios without brining multiple rods. They call it the utility rod, so I figure it had me covered. The rod is incredibly light and all models state a sub 4 oz rod weight. The sensitivity is great, had no problems knowing what the different baits were doing. I pitched with it, threw some paddle tail swimmers, casting jigs, Texas rigs and plan to throw some swim baits like the Gantarel with it soon.I have been switching reels around to find the balance point I like best, but I have fished it mainly with a Shimano Curado I. The rod itself has some techniques listed on the blank outside of the ones listed in the description on the product page. I have an older generation Endurance 723 and I like that this current generation fixed the exposed threads that the older model had. The exposed threads used to irritate my finger at times. This is a great rod for the price and even better during a sale. Plan to purchase a few more models in the future.1 day shipping from Tackle Warehouse is priced right for the impatient, like myself.

From: Trigga Trev:Gunshine State1/17/19

Comments:This rod is amazing! totally worth the 150$! also comes with lifetime warranty! amazing and super light. when i first pulled this rod out and had it in my hands i thought they gave me a light finesse stick. it was so light! i got the 765 and its super light and can handle 2oz swimbaits with ease and light 1/4 T rigs very well. super light and very balanced and also super sensitive for what it is.

From: Unknown - Florida 1/5/19

Comments:I bought the 733 CEF, and paird it with a Revo ALX for light jigs, worms, and shakeyheads.I'm impressed with the rod's sensitivity and great backbone.I've thrown everything from 1/8th oz shakeyheads to 12" worms to 3/8oz jigs in cover, and this rod is amazing with them all. And, its very light, legit around 3.5 oz.I want 2 more!!

From: Davo:Haleyville, AL8/22/18

Comments:Caught a few fish on the 7'2" Heavy on a Jig, the rod felt great!! sensitive and very light. Feels light like a Duckett but more backbone. Problem was I snapped it in half on a hook set. I called powell, rather emailed Powell with limited response. Once they responded they were a pleasure to work with. Sent a few pics and they sent me a new rod. GREAT SERVICE.I think it was just a bad rod, It had a defect. I think it will be a great rod and I am looking to replace several of my ducketts. IT FELT GREAT! Dont hesitate.

From:Unknown: 7/20/18

Comments:Man I LOVE these rods!! 7'9 MMH, light punching and all day flipping, Iv ben a Powell guy since the first one Iv got, I have all types of other rods, but wen it comes to real power fishing, Powell is my go to! I recently pulled a 5lb LMB out of the thickest crap, and i didn't even blink or have to worry about it not performing!! I paired it with a Tatula sv tws,and 65lb power pro!! Ben tossing a 1oz eco flipping weight with a 0/4 VMC heavy cover flipping hook, with creature baits.. right threw all the lilly's and nasty mats up here in MN, and Iv ben killing it!! Thanks Powell!!

From:Justin: Little Falls, MN 6/11/18

Comments:I like the new Endurance color better than the old. It's marketing, the rod mfr. has to come up with something that is unique and stands out compared to everyone else.Beyond that each of the new rods I've picked up I really like even compared to the 3D.I now have the 724CB, 705CB and 733CEF.Next purchases will be the 764MMH and maybe 755CB.

From:Kurt: Havertown, PA 5/17/18

Comments:these rods are amazing, i own 4 different models and they are all great. one thing i did not like on the max 3d was the short handle, the endurance handle is great and gives you so much power. all around they are the lightest, most sensitive rod ive ever felt.

From: Unknown 5/9/18

Comments:Got the 795 for punching.Really liking it for 3/4, 1 or 1 1/4 ounce applications.Been using it for buzzing soft plastics over pads and it works great for that too.Never used the old endurance rods, but I have a couple Max 3D 806s that I really liked. It's a lot of rod for the price.Upgraded cork from the Max 3Ds and the butt caps look slick. One of my favorite features is the reel lock nut hood they use on these rods.Nice and smooth and something I feel all rod manufacturers should be using on rods in this price range.Like the previous review mentions, it does leave a couple threads exposed. For my grip, this doesn't affect me, but I'm sure it will for some other guys. The action is great and reminds me of my Dobyns DX795.The rods is super light and well-balanced.Definitely going to pick up a couple more in the near future.

From: Jon:FL 5/7/18

Comments:All I can say is wow! I got the 8ft punching stick to replace my Dobyns Champion XP 805. Way lighter and more balanced at almost half the price. Super powerful but yet has the perfect tip for punching heavy cover. My only complaint if I had to find one is that the reel seat locking nut doesn't end up flush with the check winding when you tighten the reel up. It leaves a couple threads exposed. Not too big of a deal but it's there nonetheless. All in all its a strong, beautiful and powerful rod at a great price. I'll definitely be buying more.

From: Luis:Lake Placid, FL3/24/18

Comments:The 7'7" flipping stick is money - light, sensitive, and well-balanced. It's hard to put this rod down. Definitely worth checking out.

From: John - Ava, IL 2/24/18

Comments:Am I the only one disappointed in the color scheme? We've waited forever for the Endurance to return, and it's ugly. The purple now has pearl in it (yuck) and they didn't even attempt to add the 'water spots.' I've been a Powell diehard for years, but d#@$, we asked for the Endurance to return, not a cheesy resemblance of it..........I'm glad I still have a dozen of the originals!

From:Unknown: 1/27/18

Comments:Amazing rods!! I have the 734C and it's incredible. Light, easy to fish but still plenty of backbone. I can do everything with it. Jigs, Texas rigs, Carolina rigs, spinnerbaits, up to 1oz swimbait a, topwater you name it, this rod can do it. With the right reel it casts a mile. If you're on the fence about getting one, just go ahead a get it.

From: Unknown: Florida 1/23/18

Comments:Purchased the 683c Endurance. I wanted a lighter and shorter all purpose rod for fishing around docks. This rod is extremely light and well built. It is very sensitive. I compared it to an original 723 endurance and it feels very similar. I really like these rods and I like that Powell has adjusted their price points on all of their rods. These rods are made in China- I think the original generation was as well, but for Chinese rods these seem to be well built.
