Comments: Similar to the experience of others, I find that these only cut well with a tight line. Better than nail clippers, but there are better budget cutters (see: Cuda).

Comments: Only good for about 1 season and then need replaced. Have to have braid tight to get it cut with these.

Comments: These scissors are great for about 3 months then they start to rust for some odd reason. Even though I clean all of my tools and use them in fresh water they still rust. The serrated part really helps when cutting all types of lines. If you keep the line tight as you are cutting it, it is much easier. I love them and I bring them everywhere!!! The finger holes are big and i stuck a lanyard in one of them so when I am kayaking I always have them with me. And at $2.99, losing a pair isnt that big of a deal and once they wear down you can get a new one!!!
