Comments: I've had the 7'4" Heavy Flip/Pitch/Frog for a few months now and so far I absolutely love it. I replaced a Dobyns Fury 7'6"Flip/Pitch/Frog with this rod and the Battletek is a much better rod. The Fury just seemed heavy and clunky while the Battletek is light and very sensitive and has the backbone to change directions on a fish in a hurry. I've paired it with a Curado 151mgl and love throwing D-Bombs & big worms on it. Haven't tried a jig yet with it as I don't throw a jig a lot but I don't see why it wouldn't perform just fine.

Comments: The 7'4" Bladed Jig rod is awesome! Love the action on this as it loads up perfectly for the intended application. Super lightweight and grips are very comfortable, not to mention it looks BAD TO THE BONE! Look good, feel good, play good right?!? I feel like these Battletek rods are VERY underrated.

Comments: Been on a quest for a perfect chatterbait rod for a few years now. Have tried glass rods, composite rods and graphite with various tapers and lengths. I found a few that I really liked but nothing that I loved. This Batteltek 7'4 MH is something special. It's well balanced light and extremely comfortable to fish. The reel seat and finger grooves are so ergonomic...The mod-fast action is perfect on this one. It's so crisp and sensitive for a chatterbait rod. The way it feels loading up on a big fish brings a smile to my face every time and man does it keep them pinned. Don't understand how it's so budget friendly. I have it paired with a Curado DC and it is such a dream to fish It's actually addicting. This is a nasty stick. You won't regret your purchase. And for the price you can't beat it.

Comments: Absolutely awful, worst investments I have ever made in a rod! A Favorite White Bird will outlast these rods for a third of the cost. Bought 5 of these Battleteks and within 2 weeks had 3 shatter on hook sets, 2 were the chatterbait rods and the other was the jerkbait. Threw the other 2 that hadn't broke (yet) in the lake if that tells you the quality of these rods and what I'm willing to do with them, will never purchase another.

Comments: Purchased the 6'10" jerkbait rod and paired it with a curado 70 MGL. After the first time using it I was so impressed with the quality, lightweight and action, I just purchased the 7'4" chatterbait rod. It's already by far, my favorite rod. I love throwing a chatterbaits so I can't wait to use chatterbaits rod.

Comments: year and a half report on this rod. only complaint i have is the cap on the top of the reel seat where the foam connects to a little piece of metal got loose and i had to hot glue it back into place, other than that this by far has been the best rod i have ever bought, own and have bought EXPENSIVE rods. not only do i use it for my chatterbaits i use it for the jabber jaw, hybrid jaw, 6th sense chattercrank t, finesse regular and magnum spinnerbaits. the action makes so it can be the perfect reaction style rod. very light seems weight is more towards the tip which is perfectly fine for anything reaction since you should have your tip down to get more depth out of all of those reaction style baits. will be buying more of these rods as they will slowly replace my whole arsenal.

Comments: 7'4 MH-Vibrating Jig Rod review. I Agree with Alan. This rod is definitely a stand out above the rest. The total rod weight is 5.4oz. And feels very light in hand. Fishes very well. It is a composite bend rod. But very little glass so it keeps the rod weight down greatly. Feels like a full graphite blank. The bend is perfect. The first 30% feels like a medium power then gets into the backbone fast making it slow enough for moving baits but fast enough to rip out of weeds with ease. Roughly around 30 bass and 3 Pike, have not lost a fish I set a hook on. Can't say enough good things about this stick. Now one of my favorite rods and by far the best chatterbait/spinnerbait rod I have found.

Comments: Was looking for a new cranking rod for 2021 to replace my Dobyns rod and came across this Battletek cranking rod. This rod is a light as a feather and the moderate flex is phenomenal. I'm up in the northeast, so with ice coming in, I haven't had the chance to fish it to its full capabilities yet. I have had a chance to do some casting, and was slinging a 1/2 oz. lipless 50+ yards with ease. Can't wait for spring/ice out. Also the OD Green color sits well with this Vet.

Comments: got the vibrating jig model, wow i was so impressed by this rod. kinda like how it inst super slow of an action cause now you literally feel everything with this rod. another thing, since it doesn't have a slower action you can throw 3/8 chatterbaits super far. have only used fluorocarbon so far might try braid but i just feel with the action and using a vibrating jig it would be too much unless your just trying to rip it through the grass. but either way this rod if youre looking for a vibrating jig rod is the one to get.
